Chapter 8

Fingers interlocked, elbows on your knees, sweat trickling down your cheek, you were on the edge of your seat. 

Kisaki was defending Mikey... and everyone in Toman was praising him for it.

You had to admit, after everything you knew about Moebius, Valhalla, killing off everyone close to Mikey without being suspected... Kisaki was a genius. 

But, you knew you could be just as ruthless.

You knew your plan wouldn't win you any trust with Toman. However, if things went accordingly on Baji's side... well, they'd forgive you when they found out.

While everyone was distracted with sucking off Kisaki, you watched as a shadow darted up the mountain of cars.

"I was waiting for this."

Kisaki's body went flying to the side, gasping, eyes rolling, crumbling to the ground. You couldn't hold back your laughter as Baji grinned ferally,

"I'm gunna rearrange your fucking face, Kisakiiii!!"

Baji was smiling wickedly, his sharp canines and glowing honey brown eyes making him look like a monster. 

"Stop it!! Baji!"

"We came here to bring you back!!"

Draken and Mitsuya only succeeded in distracting Baji, allowing Kisaki's vice captain to throw him down the cars.

"Swat him dead."

Kisaki voiced with all seriousness, and you knew he was serious. Kisaki was a killer, just like you. Except he's never personally gotten his hands dirty.

You watched Baji tumble to a stop. He looked uninjured enough, which filled your chest with relief.

"Let's see you try."

Before he could make good on his word Baji was stopped by his ex- vice captain.

Matsuno stood before Baji, arms spread with a defiant look on his face.

"Chifuyu? The fuck're you doing?" Baji mumbled just loud enough to hear from where you sat, "Outta the way... Chifuyu!"

"Baji-san," Matsuno pleaded, "Don't do this. If you take down Kisaki now, you'll be going against Mikey-kun!"

Matsuno then said something you couldn't hear no matter how hard you strained.

Whack!!!

Baji bashed Matsuno upside the head with the lead pipe in his hand.

"Stay outta this, Chifuyu!" Baji growled, not looking back at his friend, "I kept you beside me to use you in fights. I don't care what you think."
