You've always admired Yuzuha, even if you never said it aloud. She was the type of girl others would look up to, the kind that others envied.
She was beautiful and not shy enough to not acknowledge that. She would have made an incredible model, if things had gone differently. Though thinking back she'd have been more happy to just be someone's agent instead.
You handed Yuzuha a cup of tea from where she sat tucked in under the massive kotatsu blanket, where Baji slept, at the couch.
"Thanks," she whispered, blowing at the steam rising from the green mint tea.
You sat on the other side of the couch and watched Koko file through some paper work before locking it back up in a safe in the bottom cabinet in the kitchenet.
"I'm leaving, seems I'm an exterminator today~" Koko smirks at you, your response is a simple Cheshire smile and a wave.
You already knew there was a rat in Black Dragons who was being swayed by Kisaki. You never personally found out who it was, but Koko had, so you just left it to the past Koko to deal with again.
"Exterminator?" Yuzuha asked, tucking a strand of honey brown hair behind an ear.
"Mhm," you hummed, sipping your tea, "Someone is selling information about us to a pretty evil guy."
It was quiet for a good while, just the sound of cars passing and some shifting on the couch.
You were going to take Baji and Kazutora out tonight for their good behavior. Maybe the onsen again? You felt bad that they not only were stuck here, but now were stuck to the bedroom for so long now too.
"Why did you want to be a delinquent?"
Yuzuha spoke softly as she looked at you from over the rim of her cup.
"Well," you started, "I've always been rather violent. I just wanted to be better than any of the boys."
You leaned forward and placed your empty cup on the table.
Yuzuha stared at you with wrapped attention.
"My dad is a terrible guy and my mom was a prostitute. They fought a lot. One day my dad took it too far and my mom didn't wake up."
Yuzuha finally looked away, she chewed on her lower lip, "Yeah... I get it."
You just hummed noncommittally.
"I was already friends with Inui and Koko, but I rarely stayed at my house. I never wanted to see my bastard dad again. It was one day when I was little when Inui and I ran into Shinichiro-kun at the park," You smiled at the memory.
You continued, laughing lightly, "He looked so cool surrounded by so many badasses, I ran up and kicked this giant, Benki-kun, in the shin and tried to grapple him."
You laughed a little harder, "I was so tiny, I tried to put him in an arm bar, but I wasn't big enough."
Yuzuha chuckled at the mental image too.
"Yeah... that's why I wanted to be a delinquent. I just wanted to fight and look cool..."
It was silent again until Yuzuha spoke, "And now?"
You looked to sweet, powerful Yuzuha and remembered a future she had no clue about. How she lived with the guilt under Hakkai's orders. The look of defeat on her face as she jumped away from you and into the path of the train. You cried for her in your dreams sometimes.
"And now?" You knew exactly why you were a delinquent now, "To protect the people I love."
Yuzuha blushed then, digging her face into the blanket.
You simply smiled at how cute she was.
"Don't worry, Yuzu-chan," You whispered, "[y/n]-Ane will take care of you."
You saw her sag into the couch, like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

Koko wasn't one to worry. He always had a calm and collected exterior. He prided himself on being steps ahead of others. In being so he's made quite a lot of money.
He was still in the brothel back rooms wrapping up a meeting he just had with a few of his own Guard squad underlings. They apparently heard there was an assistant that was running his mouth.
Good, they found him.
However, you told him not to act until he's gotten in contact with Kisaki and if her hunch was correct, that new little time leaper, Takemitchy.
Things were getting interesting.
Koko wasn't one to worry, so when Inupi texted him with that bullshit he was racing home to corral you.
You from two months ago was very scary, so, Koko was kinda worried.
