Takemichi was sure he had some fierce PTSD. He had a host of new issues on top of the old ones. But he liked to think he was getting better at this. He liked to think that he was getting used to the whiplash of jumping around time.
So it shouldn't have shocked him when he jumped forward and found himself in the middle of a fight.
He had to duck below a fist flying for his face, his three piece suit restricting his movements, but his body moved faster than he ever thought it could. Perhaps he trained his body to fight?
Looking around quickly he noticed a sushi bar, a flaming grill and a massive fish tank. There were tables, booths and chairs scattered around the room with customers taking shelter below the ones he could see from where he stood.
He was in a classy five star restaurant.
He was facing down at least twenty guys in red uniforms, many with face masks, but those without them were snarling in his direction as more people were streaming in through the glass doors.
"Takemichi!" The curly black haired man turned and saw his red haired friend, Akkun. "We gotta go! It's a trap!" He was waving Takemichi to the back door, holding it open with a foot, cocking the gun in his hand.
Takemichi had no idea what the two of them were doing here, but he had no time to wonder, not while they were being hailed down by a crew of hostiles.
He didn't question his childhood friend and ran for the back door, "Where are we going?!" They dashed out the back, Akkun aiming his gun down the alleyway popping off one shot and taking them in the other direction.
"Naoto is around the corner! We gotta go! Now!"
Naoto was here?! Thank god! Ever since this started Naoto was his biggest supporter, someone he couldn't do this without. Literally.
They rounded the corner and came face to face with that same black haired detective, in his suit, gun drawn and pointed at them. His eyes widened when he saw Takemichi and Akkun, lowering his firearm.
"Naoto!" Takemichi exclaimed in relief, "Thank god!"
Naoto briefly smiled at his friend, "Yeah, we gotta get out of here, there's Tsuyaku guys everywhere 'round here." The detective turned to lead them away and further down the corridor, stepping past trashcans and around trash littering the ground.
Tsuyaku? What the hell was that? Where where was [y/n]-kun? And Mikey-kun? Takemichi would get everything he could out of Naoto when they were safe.
Akkun paused, turning to check the corner then... he fell... red spraying in the air and coating the two in a sticky fluid--
"...Akkun?" Takemichi muttered as his friend's body fell to the pavement, red pooling in a ring around Akkun's head.
He... was shot.... Akkun was shot?
Takemichi's eyes widened, horror constricting his throat as a mournful gasp left him, "AKKUN?!"
No, Akkun died again?! No, no, no, no. Not again!
He was jerked to the side, Naoto pushed him from the path of another bullet. The sound of a shot going off.
There was a blond man with a crazed grin on his face, gun raised at the two.
Naoto shot wild as he tried to move the two of them into cover to make it to the end. So close to the exit as Takemichi nearly tripped over his own feet, scuffing his expensive dress shoes.
Naoto turned to Takemichi with wide black eyes when they reached the end of the alley, an SUV pulling up, a person popping out the top of the sun roof and another leaning out the rolled down window with an automatic weapon. The air vibrated from the rapid fire.
