Wei Ying arrived at the gym, pocketing his phone after receiving the "We're already here" of his friends. He and Lan Zhan went their separate ways since the alpha will be going straight to the lockers to change his clothes into his fencing gear. 

Zhan immediately spotted them at the third-row bleachers. "Cheng! Huaisang!" he called their attention. The two immediately whipped their head in his direction and waved at him. 

The omega parkoured his to them and finally sat down in front of Huaisang with an oof. "Why did you even call us here?" Jiang Cheng grumbled, pulling out Wei Ying's favorite lotus crackers and handing them to him, he didn't tell him to get him that but he just knew the omega will like it.    

Wei Ying smiled and thank him, "Well, just want to watch I guess," he answers, a hint of something that his friends knew what it is even if he doesn't vocalize them. 

Jiang Cheng quite had a loose mouth a while ago and spilled to Huaisang about Wei Ying's mother's birthday and what happened last night when they arrived home. He knew Wei Ying felt hurt after hearing that though he insists that's it's okay, well, as a friend and also a brother, he already memorized him, at least a quarter of him. 

Wei Ying didn't notice Huaisang grab his head as he opens the food and started munching down on it. 

"Don't you have something to do at the archery club?" Jiang Cheng asked him, brows furrowing. 

Wei Ying shook his head, "No, I'm excused because of the meeting," he answers, words muffled because of chewing.

"Not because you're their ace, you'll just slack off like that!" Jiang Cheng scolded which Wie Ying just answer with his tongue sticking out, Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes at him. How about you?" Jiang Cheng turns his attention to the other omega. Huaisang shook his head, "The art's club's day off today," he answers, bringing back his attention to Wei Ying's head. 

"If you had joined a club you could have understood the feeling of having responsibilities," Wei Ying utters, shaking his head with disappointment. 

Jiang Cheng scowled, "I'm not interested."

"Why didn't you join Shijie at the volunteering club? There's Wen Qing jie, y'know. You like her right?" Wei Ying says, enjoying his food at the same time.

Jiang Cheng just rolled his eyes, "She is there, and yes I like her but I hate doing things like that," he scoffs.

Nie Huaisang stopped from what he is doing for a second, "How about at literature club? There's Presi Xichen," he suggested then brought his attention back to what he is doing. 

Jiang Cheng raised a brow at him, "And what does that connect with president Xichen?" he looked at him with a questioning look. 

Huaisang just shrugs, ignoring his question. Jiang Cheng sighed, whatever that means it doesn't have to do with him. 

After Wei Ying finish his cracker, his brows furrowed. He just noticed a rumble of purr and wetness on his hair. He just noticed that Huaisang is keeping his head in place and licking his hair as if grooming him.

"Oy, whatcha doing?" he asked which made the other omega stop midway, his rough tongue out as he looked at Wei Ying confusedly. He then snapped back when he noticed what he is doing. He sheepishly smiled at Wei Ying and let go of his head. "Hehe, sorry. It's instinct," he answers as he rubs the back of his neck. 

"Is that supposed to be you're comforting me?" Wei Ying broke out a chuckle, after realizing what Huaisang meant.

Huaisang slowly nods, "Gege usually does that to me when he's comforting me or something," he utters, feeling shy of how his instinct took over him when he felt like comforting him.

"Even now?" Jiang Cheng asked in disbelief. 

Huaisang just nods, well, his brother might be a hard stone to break but when it comes to Huaisang he's a big softy. 

Wei Ying laughed, "He's quite a big man and always scowls, who knew he's being soft to his brother!" he teased making Huaisang shy even more. "I think it's a natural thing to felines!" he protested. 

Wei Ying just laughed at him, after subsiding he spoke again, "Your tongue has spikes in it, I just noticed," he points out. 

Huaisang just shrugs, "I'm a Liger and a feline, that's how it is."

The two nod. "I see, I don't really know quite well about mammals or felines," Wei Ying utters, then eyed the court of the gym. He beamed upon seeing a familiar built entering the court, his hair is tied into a man-bun, both hands are filled with his headgear and sword. He grinned, "but I'm ready to hear more about the mammalian tribe," he added, eyes never leaving a certain alpha. 

Huaisang and Wanyin looked at each other and shook their heads, "You're a lost cost," Huaisang commented. "You're down bad, man," Jiang Cheng added making Wei Ying whip his head in an instant. 

He frowns, "What do you mean?" he asked confusedly. 

The two just shrugs, "You like him," they deadpanned.

The omega's brows furrow even more, what are they even saying? He's just curious about the alpha! There's nothing more to it. His friends are making up things they don't know. He roll his eyes and chuckles, "For clarification, I do not. It's just quite fun getting different reactions from him!" he defended. 

The two just looked at him unamused, "Really? So it's just you having fun when you decided to run for treasurer because you want to "bug" him?" Jiang Cheng said. 

Wei Ying nods, "Uh-huh."

"And it is just you having fun bombarding him when you have the chance?" Huaisang added. 

Wei Ying nods again, "Mhm."

"And this is also having fun? Staying at the gym because the fencing club has a scheduled practice at the gym and refuses to go to the archery club?" Jiang Cheng continued. 

"Yeah," he beamed, bringing his eyes back to the court. The sparring is getting started any second. "Shh! Stop the questions, they are starting!" he chirped.

The two shook their head in disbelief, 'yeah right. Just having fun' they both thought.
