Slither 95: Chapter Extra 2

"I'm sorry, uncle, grandma, we had to dump them to you today," Wei Ying utters apologetically as he hands his second twins to Qiren and Lan Yi. Wuxinian and Wuxinyan reluctantly let go of their mother but are eventually held by Qiren and Lan Yi, making the two sniffle at the loss of their mother's touch.

Lan Yi smiles fondly at him as she cradles Wuxinian in her arms, rocking him slowly to pacify his sniffles, knowing full well how clingy the two are to their mother. "It's okay, Zhan. My children are with us as well, and they've been wanting to look after their grandchildren," she chuckles. 

"We've been wanting grandchildren as well, so it's kinda training for us!" Shan, Lan Yi's wife, chirped as she clutch two small hands that are enthusiastically vibrating in excitement. 

"I'm willing to give my time to my adorable grandchildren," Qiren utters and shrugs. Not even giving a glance to the omega, but rather concentrating with fondness in his eyes on Wuxinyan who is pouting as he clutches his small hands on the older's clothes while he looks at his mother as if wanting to be taken away. Despite his expressionless face, there's a glint of excitement in his eyes.

Wei Ying giggles as he bows at them, "Thank you, uncle Qiren, grandma Lan Yi and grandma Shan. I and Lan Zhan planned to go to the amusement park with them, but when I woke up this morning, Lan Zhan seems to be having a cold. He's in his wolf form and he's breathing heavily. I decided to postpone our little outing but Xia and Xin went to knock on our bedroom looking so excited. I don't want to spoil their excitement either," he says dejectedly.

"Glad you called us! Look at them!" Lan Yi giggles, "They can't wait to go to the amusement park!" she remarks as she looks down at the two. 

"Yeah," Wei Ying giggles as he watches his two adorable kids fidgeting in excitement. 

" By the way, these are their bags." he raised two bags that he prepared beforehand, "I filled this bag with Xinian and Xinyan's milk, change of clothes and books, and some other necessities they needed," he hold out the blue bag to Qiren. "And these are Xia and Xin's bags, I put a change of clothes and face towels in there, and their sippy cups with water," he added giving his firstborns their bags, which the two jogs happily to grab it from him and went back to holding Shan's hands. 

Then Wei Ying crouched down to his two kids' level, giving them his motherly smile, "You two should stay with grandmas and grandpa, okay? Don't wander around, and behave for me, hm?" he talked softly to the two. 

"Yes, mommy!" Xia chirps. 

"I'll be a good boy, mommy, and take care of A'Xia and A'nian and A'yan!" Xin declares determinedly. 

Wei Ying chuckles at his boy's antics, he nods, "That's my baby. Look after grandmas and grandpa too okay?" he reminds him tenderly. 

The boy nods vigorously to his mother in compliance. 

Then Wei Ying stood, looking at his second twins, he smiles tenderly at them, "And to my two boys," he utters fondly. 

Xinian and Xinyan stare at their mother, lips wobbly and eyes glassy as they fight themselves from crying. 

Wei Ying chortles, "Oh my, don't cry my little ones. Play with brother and sister, okay? I wish I can play with you too, but daddy is sick so mommy needs to take care of him, hm?" he coos, cupping Xinian's cheeks and kissing his forehead, which the kid immediately grab his mother's hands but Wei Ying gently peel them off. 

Then he turns to Xinyan and did the same, cupping his cheeks and kissed him on the forehead. The kid grabbed the hem on his mother's clothes but he peeled himself away as gently as he could.
