It's another weekday again, and another week of hellish classes and work. But to Wei Ying, it's quite the opposite. You see, weekdays are the days he will be able to see Lan Zhan freely. They are in the same class and the alpha always gets him from his club activities when it is finished, how much more that they are already on a higher level than courting.

He giggles into himself as he pulls his bag and settled them behind him, his smile from ear to ear that it might tear anytime, his heart is jumping in joy whenever he remembers that he'll be able to see Lan Zhan after not seeing him yesterday, and he's vibrating on his feet, overly excited. It was a peaceful dinner like a normal family would, little questions of concerns from school and other stuff were thrown across the table but no sign of intimidation or any anger. Zi Yuan even asked him if he feels better after what happened that Saturday and Wei Ying answered in a sheepish tone that he was alright already. The older seems convinced and nodded and didn't dare to ask any further. It may be just a question but it still surprised Wei Ying, he's feeling happier and relieved that her attitude towards him changed just for a bit and he didn't think it will happen this soon.

He smiles from ear to ear, leaving his room freely, and not feeling wary of his auntie made his heart feel light. No more worries, no more bracing himself to a wave of continued anger, and no more glares being directed at him. He jogs happily as he leaves his room, closes the door, and made his way to his brother's room.

But to his surprise, the other was not there in front of his door. He frowns, the smile he had faded as he hurriedly went to the other room. He's glad his brother doesn't lock his door, because, upon opening the door, he saw Jiang Cheng shivering on his bed, the blanket is already covering his body from under the chin to his toes. The room is not even that cold, that doesn't explain why is A'cheng shivering and all covered up. He hurriedly approach him, standing beside the bed as he stares down at the beta, worriedness flooded his vision as he stares down at a sweating-profusely beta, face all red.

"What happened to you?" Wei Ying asked, putting down his bag as he sat beside him.

Jiang Cheng immediately noticed the voice, forcefully opening his eyes to look at his visitor and a weak shake of his head, "... Don't know.." he mumbles with all his strength left, voice hoarse.

"What do you mean you don't know? You look like you're having a cold but it doesn't make sense! Your room isn't even cold, did you go anywhere I don't know of?" he asked, a little mad because, how did he end up like this? Isn't he taking care of himself?

The beta closed his eyes, forcing his eyes to open draining his energy even more. His brain is all fuzzy, and the concerned tone of the omega is like buzzing of bees in his ears. His stomach is also acting strange since morning, when he woke up, he felt a sudden sting just below his gut, he thought he was just having a loose bowel so he reinforced it with a stomachache medicine, but it didn't work as time passed by, until he felt his whole body shivers, until his body weakened. Now he's too tired to move on his own to get any cold medicine in case it's a cold.

Wei Ying sighed, since the beta can't answer him anymore, he stood from the bed, "Wait here, I'll get you cold medicine, I'll also inform our professors about your absence today. Want me to stay with you?" he suggested but the beta immediately shakes his head, which made him groan when the sharp pain attacked once again.
