The two alphas finally left the front door, frowns still written on their foreheads. But despite the blazing anger, their hearts feel a little eased after hearing an apology they are wishing to hear since a long time ago from their uncle. 

Just as they were about to step inside Xichen's car, Lan Zhan's phone chimed, stopping him in his tracks. He immediately fishes out his phone, his frown relaxing as he sees Wei Ying's petname at the upper of the message box. "If you're done, call me. I'll go get you and you can even tell me what happened throughout." is what is written. A wide smile draws out of his lips as he dials his number without missing a beat. The weight in his heart vanished just as fast after receiving his omega's message. 

The call rings once and was immediately answered. "Hello, baby," the omega chirped from the other line, voice oh so sweet that Lan Zhan forgot that he had just come out from a place he called hell.

"Hm, We're done here," he replied, trying his best not to melt to his omega's sweet voice.

"Come on out then, I'm waiting for you here outside the gate!" he giggles from the other line.

Lan Zhan tilted his head, "You know where we live?" he utters in confusion. He doesn't remember mentioning their address to him. 

Wei Ying giggled at him, "I asked A'Cheng!" he replied, "Now get your ass here!" 

Lan Zhan only chuckled, "Aight, be there," he announced before turning his attention to his brother waiting for him to finish the call. 

But before he can tell his brother to go ahead he beat him to it. 

"Let me guess, he's here to get you?" The older asked, smirking.

Lan Zhan sighs with a wide grin on his face, "Yeah." he nods.

Xichen just shook his head chuckling, "Then hop on. I'll drop you off at the gate," he suggested.

Lan Zhan hums a thanks and sat in the shotgun seat while the older in the driver's.

When they arrived at the front gate, Lan Zhan dropped off at the side road. He immediately spotted Wei Ying's car two meters away from where Xichen stopped.

The omega peeked his head out, waving with an enthusiastic smile on his face. Lan Zhan's lips were quick to replicate the same smile, shaking his head in the process as he approach the car. 

"Did you wait long?" Lan Zhan asked, leaning at the door of the driver's side. 

The omega grins, shaking his head, "Not really," he answered, it was a lie but his alpha doesn't need to know that of course. "Hop on!" he offered. 

Who is Lan Zhan to decline that? And so he rounds the hood of the car, arriving at the other side. He then welcomes himself inside, sitting at the shotgun seat where he can easily hold his omega whenever he wanted. 

Then they both waved goodbye at the retreating image of Xichen's car. 

After finally disappearing out of their sight, they looked at each other. Smiles reaching their ears, practically giggling at each other.

"So, how was it?" Wei Ying trailed off, hands on the stirring wheel as he wiggle his brows at the alpha. 

Lan Zhan chuckles, "It was you who made him that way."

Wei Ying's brows furrow as he adorably tilted his head, "What did he do?" he asked innocently.

The alpha chortles, pinching the adorable cheeks of his omega, "He said sorry," he replied, smiling fondly at him.

The omega raised a brow confusedly, "And how is that my doing?" 

"He confessed that it was you who talk to him to his sense," he uttered. 

The omega giggles, "I didn't do much!" he said shyly, pink hues painting his cheeks. 

Lan Zhan grins at the sight. He chortles, two hands reaching his omega's cheeks, then he cups them safely between his warm palms, "I could marry you right now!" he suddenly blurted out of thought.

The omega's eyes and lips shut wide, his heart thumping enthusiastically inside his chest. "Then let's get married!" he chirped.

The alpha's brows furrowed, confusion written on his face. "Huh?" he doesn't get it, why suddenly?

The omega frantically wriggles out of the alpha's hold and starts starting the engine of the car, not minding the alpha's confused look.

The alpha only watches his omega in confusion, trying to recall what just happened.

It took Lan Zhan to realize what was going on when they arrived in front of the municipal town hall. 

"Why are we here?" he asked, trailing down a look at the building.

Wei Ying, who is already unbuckling his seat belt beams at him, "We'll get married!" he announced without a beat. Not even a hint of bluffing in his voice.

"B-but it's too soon?" he interrupted, astonished.

Wei Ying sighs, "You just said it earlier that you could marry me right now!" he pouts. 

Lan Zhan frantically wrapped his hands on the omega's cheeks, "I did, but that was-"

"-so you don't want to marry me then?" the omega cut him off, pout still on his face. 

Lan Zhan sighs followed by a fond smile, "I didn't mean it that way. But what would they say if we did it unannounced?" he asked softly.

The omega's pout was replaced with a wide grin, "Then we can register and worry about it later! They can do nothing if our marriage is already written on the records!" he announced enthusiastically as if what they are about to do is not a big deal. 

The alpha's jaw dropped, "Baby--" he was about to protest when the omega already left the driver seat and went to his side, opening the door and pulling him out of the car. 

The alpha was left stunned. Despite his strength, he let the omega pull him towards the building. Well, he can't say no if he's this excited, so beautiful yet adorable whenever he flashes his smile. Now he wonders if he'll be this whipped forever and let the omega have his way with him for the rest of their lives. 

Well, there's no turning back now. He'll marry him either way anyway. 

After having an impromptu wedding, they left the municipal hall with an envelope of papers declaring their marriage in their hands. Then they went to buy their paired ring and planned for an impromptu honeymoon later.
