"What do you want to order?" Lan Zhan whispered to his omega. The two were defying personal space that his grandma and Jiang Cheng don't even bother to notice because Lan Yi is busy entertaining the pregnant omega with a lot of questions. 

"Whatever you're ordering," Wei Ying timidly uttered, still not letting go of the guilt of doubting his boyfriend, eyes looking elsewhere except his boyfriend's eyes. 

Lan Zhan notice his omega's soft voice, he smiled fondly as he notice how the omega avoid his eyes. Even though he said it was already okay, that he has no fault at all, his omega has been mulling over it until now and it hurts seeing him looking so distant. He sighs, putting his arm at the backrest of Wei Ying's chair, and if they are already close to each other a while ago, they are closer now. 

Wei Ying felt the tug on his other shoulder, his eyes immediately followed his other side, and saw a hand, cupping the corner of his shoulder and causing him to tilt a little until he felt a chest on his other shoulder. He looked up and saw his alpha, looking at him with love. 

"Now you looked at me," he mumbles softly, his hand that was cupping the corner of his shoulder is now applying comforting rubs. 

Wei Ying's cheeks caught a tinge of pink hue, after what he did to his alpha, his boyfriend is still treating him with care and love. He thinks, he doesn't deserve this treatment at all. He looks down, feeling the guilt shower him again. When the alpha notice his aversion, a thumb, and an index finger caught his chin, bringing them to look directly at him, "Babe, I told you it was already okay. You don't need to worry about it, hm?" the alpha coos, rubbing his thumb on his chin in a circular motion. 

Wei Ying pouts but nodded anyway. The alpha smiled when he saw his pout, the urge to kiss him was there but was stopped when the eldest spoke. 

"How about you two? What do you want?" Lan Yi beamed, looking over the menu.

The two immediately turn their attention to her, a little bashful at being caught being affectionate in public, it was fortunate that his grandma decided to dine in a restaurant with private rooms.

"Spicy chicken stew and spicy ice cream please," Lan Zhan answered which made Wei Ying and Lan Yi look at him with confusion.

"But sweetie, you can't tolerate spicy right?" his grandma asked, worried for his son. 

Wei Ying's brows furrowed, "You can order something not spicy, babe," he complains but Lan Zhan just smiled at him and then smiled at the older alpha. "You said you want to order whatever I want to order," he whispered to his boyfriend before turning to his grandmother, "It's fine, grandma. I can tolerate a bit of spice," he said trying to act convincingly. 

Wei Ying sighs, "Then I want vegetable stir fry, ma-"

"Grandma, call me grandma," The elder clarified. 

Wei Ying nods, "A stir fry for me, grandma," he corrected himself.

Lan Yi scans the two confusedly, "Okay then," she utters, her lips forming into a smile as she notices their space is not evident at how close the two are, "ah, youth," she whispers to herself before turning her attention to the pregnant omega beside her. "How about you dear? Order whatever you want," she chirped knowing that being pregnant means you tend to eat a lot. 

Jiang Cheng smiled wide after hearing that he can order whatever he wants, of course the baby inside him has been making him eat thrice the quantity he eats when he was not yet pregnant. "Really ma-"

"Hep! Call me grandma too," he said to Jiang Cheng.

Jiang Cheng giggles and nods, "Yes, grandma," he answers, "I want this, and this and this and this, please," he said pointing at the menu which Lan Yi followed with her eyes.
