"How was your flight grandma?" Lan Zhan asked as he put down Wei Ying's cup of coffee on the bedside table before sitting beside his omega. 

Lan Yi shrugs, "It was fine," she answers behind the screen. 

"Don't you have jet lag, grandma?" Wei Ying asks as a wide smile paints his face, he's lying stomach flat on the bed, face almost occupying the screen of the laptop.

"A bit, but I'm fine!" she giggles. 

He pats the omega's peaches, doing it purposefully since only Wei Ying's face is seen on the screen. "You should be resting right now," Lan Zhan uttered smoothly as if he's not doing something naughty behind the scene. He even gropes them a little which causes the omega to kick him. Lan Zhan only smirked mentally at his reaction.

It made Wei Ying blush hard, but he can't let their grandma know, or else that would be embarrassing, instead, he launched another kick that easily hit the alpha on the arm. It was a harmless kick tho and Lan Zhan only chortles. 

"I'm fine! I'm fine!" she reassured, "By the way, I forgot to ask. How was your meeting yesterday?" she enthusiastically grins. 

Wei Ying smiles sweetly, "It was great!" he replies with a giggle.

The female alpha raised a brow at him, "You sure? My nephew didn't do anything to you, really??" she asked, not believing an inch of the omega's reply. 

The omega nods, "Mhm!" he hums, "Rather, it came out fine! I think we'll be able to work as business partners from now on!" he grins. 

The two alpha is still skeptical of the omega's replies, for all they know, Lan Qiren hates omegas. But how did he manage to soften that old-man's guard?

"I still don't know what you did to that old man but well, I guess I'll trust you on that," she replied, still unconvinced. She'd been scolding him over and over and he didn't listen to any of them, even once. 

Wei Ying giggles, "So when are you going back, grandma?" he asked, changing the whole subject. 

Lan Yi looks at her wife who's sleeping beside her, then turns back her attention to the screen. She smiles, "Maybe in a month or even in two weeks?" she shrugs.

The omega beams, "Really?!" 

Lan Yi nods, "Yeah, we'll be laying out the plan of your brother's wedding and of course, I need to be there!" she chirps. 

Wei Ying nods, "Right! See you soon then, grandma!" he replies, sitting up on the bed and reaching for his coffee. He giggles when the warmth of the coffee hit his throat. 

"Say Hi to Grandma Shan for me," Lan Zhan says after noticing that his grandma's wife is peacefully sleeping beside her. 

Lan Yi nods, "I will. When she wakes up," she replies, patting her wife's hips which she only answers with a sleepy hum. 

"You should cut the call, grandma, so you can re--" Lan Zhan paused when his phone suddenly beeped. He immediately grabbed his phone and checked who it was. His brows creased after reading the message that the female-alpha immediately noticed. 

"What's the matter?" she asked, curious as to why did he suddenly frown. 

Lan Zhan snaps back his attention to his grandmother, he gave her a tightlipped smile and sighs depressingly, "It was uncle," he replies.

Lan Yi frowns, "What did he say? Should I talk to him?" she asked, worried for his grandsons. 

"He said he wanted to have dinner with us tonight, and he wanted to talk about something," he shrugs, not even amused at the sudden message after more than a month of not contacting them. He bet he's planning something again to control their life. Whatever it is, he'll surely prepare for it. 

"What?!" she utters a little louder, causing her wife to stir a little but thankfully she didn't wake up, she pats her to sleep before bringing back her attention to the phone, "Do you need back up? Should I go back?" she frantically uttered, but paused when she realized, "Oh, wait. I won't be there on time."

Lan Zhan smiles at his grandma's concern, "We'll be fine, grandma. Don't worry too much, you enjoy your day there since granny Shan must've missed you so much," he teased.

The female alpha only smiles fondly, remembering her wife's cute reaction when she arrived, "Yeah," she mumbles softly.

"You're so whipped, grandma," Lan Zhan commented, shaking his head in disbelief.

He received a glare from her, "I could say the same with you!" she remarks, squinting her eyes. 

Wei Ying laughed at the two Lan's antics, "You're both whipped!" he replies. 

The two alphas looked at him and chuckles at his reaction, finding it cute.

"Runs in the blood!" Wei Ying added, sticking his tongue out at his alpha before bringing his attention back to his coffee. 

Lan Yi shakes her head, "Silly! Anyway, call me when something happened. I can only say good luck to you, dear," she replies, smiling in all hopes that everything will be fine somehow.

lan Zhan nods, "I will, grandma. You'll call brother after this?" he asked which the older alpha only nods as an answer. 

"Goodbye then, grandma. See you soon," Lan Zhan bids. Wei Ying then puts down his coffee then dives to face the camera once again, "Goodbye, grandma! See you soon! I miss you!" he bids goodbye and beams at the same time.

She waved her hand and nodded at them before cutting the call. 

When the laptop finally flashed the end call tab, Lan Zhan closed the laptop and faced his omega. 

Wei Ying grins wide at him, "You worried for tonight?" he finally asked, cupping his alpha's cheeks as he kneels on the bed. 

Lan Zhan gave him a tight-lip smile and nodded, "A bit..." he replies sighing. 

Wei Ying giggles, leaning close until the tip of their noses touches, "You worry too much! It will be alright!" he reassures before placing a kiss on the tip of his nose. 

"Hm, I hope," he replies, succumbing to his omega's gentle hold. He can only hope that everything will be alright.

Wei Ying sighs, "Trust me, okay!" He assures, "But if ever it won't come out well, just call me!" he grins, crawling his way to the alpha's lap without removing the hold on his face. 

The alpha immediately encircles his arms on his omega's waits, pulling him close to him as he looks up at him, "I will," he replies, smiling lovingly at him.

"Good boy!" Wei Ying giggles, leaning down to kiss the alpha. 

Their morning is well spent with cuddles and occasional kisses, and a little bit of naughty hands.
