"Do you really think it's a good decision?" Wei Ying suddenly uttered, voice rumbling into Lan Zhan's ear.

After their heartfelt dinner, the two went straight to the omega's bedroom. They are both tangled on Wei Ying's bed, legs intertwined, and the alpha's head is resting on Wei Ying's chest. While Wei Ying combs Lan Zhan's hair with tenderness and softness, head resting on top of the alpha's head. 

"Whatever your decision is, I'll support you nonetheless, babe," Lan Zhan replies, inhaling his omega's musky scent from all the accumulated sweat. 

Wei Ying giggles at his alpha's remark, "Stop being so sappy all of a sudden!" he slaps lightly, "I'm asking if I made the right decision, or is it too soon to handle that big responsibility," he whines.

Lan Zhan who senses the omega's pout looked up at him. Golden orbs meeting with grey ones. They both smiled at each other, imaginary hearts on their pupils staring at each other. 

"Just like what I said, I'll support you altogether. I'll even learn with you so we can do it together," he declares, assuring the omega's uncertainties. 

Wei Ying smiles, leaning down to plant a chaste kiss on his alpha's lips, before giggling away. "Fiiiine!" he playfully laughs, fingers tracing the alpha's jaws and settled there. 

There was a comfortable silence for a second until something jolts Wei Ying after remembering. "Right! I have not told you yet," he paused to suspense the alpha's patience.

The alpha's brows arc in curiosity, "What is?" he asked, chin on his omega's chest. 

"Your uncle showed up when you were at the hospital," he utters, causing the alpha's eyes to grow wide. His fear that his uncle did something made his heart pick up speed. His embrace on the omega's waist had gone a little tighter than before. 

"What did he do to you?" he asked, anxiety obvious in his voice. 

The omega immediately picked up, he smiles lovingly at his alpha, "Nothing much," he reassured. 

Then his smile turned smug, "He just offered me something in exchange for me to stay away from his beloved nephew who he cares so much," he smirks. 

lan Zhan's nervousness skyrocketed. His hold getting tighter by the second, too anxious that the omega had accepted the offer and leave him behind.

The omega immediately notices the alpha's anxiousness. He sighs, gentle hands palming his cheeks and forcing him to look up at him, "I'm still not finished yet!" he chuckles, trying to ease the anxiety his alpha is experiencing. 

"Don't just jump to a conclusion and listen to me, hm?" he hums, which immediately calms the alpha. "You see. He offered me a great deal," he paused, " He said, he'll grant anything I ask of him, in exchange for staying away from you. Gues what I asked him," he chuckles. 

Lan Zhan eyed him,  unable to answer the omega's question but only waited for the next words to be uttered. 

"...I ask him I want his nephew." he laughs.

Lan Zhan was lost for a second until the gears on his head started working again. A smile on his face appeared, his anxiety clearing. 

"And what did he say?" he asked curiously. 

Wei Ying shrugs, "he walked out and said he'll come back for my final decision," he replies as if the threat was nothing. 

"The next time he confronts you, I'll be by your side. I'm sorry, I let you face him without me," he pouts. 

The omega only giggles, "I'm fine, babe! Do not worry, the next time he confronts me my answer is the same," he coos, cradling the alpha in his arms.

"Hm, I know," the alpha hums.

"When would you want the wedding to be held?" Xichen suddenly asked, caressing his omega's bump on his belly. In his calculation, by the looks of the bump, in a few weeks, the omega will be laying the egg. It was good that he read about turtle hybrid's pregnancy, that way, he can keep track of his omega's pregnancy.

Jiang Cheng comfortably rests his head at the crook of the alpha's neck, purring while his nose is buried at the alpha's scent gland and inhaling his potent jasmine pheromones. He hums as his chest rumbles with happy purrs, "Anytime," he replied, focus is nowhere on his alpha's question.

Xichen hums, kissing the top of his head and smiling fondly, eyes watching his omega and answering his purr the same amount. 

"Then, after our baby is born. Would that be fine?" he suggests which the omega only nods, doesn't even know what he is agreeing into.

"I better be creating a nest for you to lay our baby," he suggested, combing the omega's hair. 

Cheng nods, "I want all your scent with it," he pouts, his happy pheromones releasing. 

Xichen chortles, "of course. Anything for the mother of my child," he declares, his hand that was combing the omega's hair traveling down to his hips. 

Cheng purrs as an answer but was cut off when a contraction suddenly occurred on his belly, he winced, brows pinching as the pain run down his whole body. 

Xichen immediately came to his rescue, his hands expertly massaging the parts where it hurts the most while he peppers his face with kisses to calm him down, "It's okay, baby. I'm here," he coos. While it hurts him to see him in pain, he can do nothing but ease the pain his omega is feeling. 

"I-It hurts--" the omega cries, clutching tight on the alpha's shirt. 

Xichen's heart was pricked, seeing him writhe is heartbreaking. But he chose to be strong and not dwell on it, "I know baby. I'm here, aren't I? Just lean on me," he assured, releasing his pheromones to fill the room, hoping it will calm down the omega even the slightest. 

The omega nods, the pain seeping all over his body. And so his mouth moved, biting the nearest thing and it was the alpha's neck. Xichen winced but he didn't make a sound of agony, instead, he let him. If that would calm him down.

After a few minutes, the omega released the alpha's neck, drool trickling down from his mouth to the bite mark, "Feeling better?" the alpha asked, rubbing his baby bump with gentleness. 

The omega nods, "Hm," he hums, eyes closing. His energy drained from the intense contraction. 

"Want to sleep?" the alpha asked softly. 

The omega only nods, letting his alpha do all the work. 

After settling their body in a comfortable embrace, the omega immediately drowses to sleep. The alpha smiles after hearing the omega's soft breathing on his chest, mixed with purrs. He then leans down to kiss the omega's lips, "I love you," he declares, "Sleep well."
