"Meeting adjourned," Lan Xichen finally said to end the student council meeting. Members slowly disperse out of the meeting room leaving the president down to the treasurer. 

The while they are fixing the meeting materials they used, Guangyao walks up to Xichen who is busy stacking the papers. 

He giggles under his breath first before his mouth opened, "Presi, let's--" he mutters, but was cut off from the voice from the other side of the room.

"Xichen ge, you're about to be finished there right?" It was Wei Ying, he didn't actually intend to cut Guangyao off from talking, coincidental that they spoke almost at the same time. 

Lan Xichen turns his head in Wei Ying's direction, didn't even notice Guangyao standing just beside him. Xichen nods, "Yes. This will be quick," he answers. 

"Oh good, A'cheng must be frowning right now while waiting," Wei Ying snickered and brought back his attention to cleaning with Lan Zhan helping him alongside.

"I hope not," Lan Xichen laughs. 

The conversation between the two ticked something off of Guangyao, being blatantly ignored is something he hates the most-- thanks to his asshole of a father. His teeth gritted and his hands balled into a fist. His emotion slowly gets uncontrolled, hence, a small fire from his phoenix blood appears out of his ears. 'Fucking Wei Wuxian and his running mouth,' he curses inside his head.

Mingjue was quick to notice the little fire springing out of him, "Guangyao." he called, voice deep to make sure he gets his attention, Guangyao snaps his attention to the authoritative tone of the alpha, a frown across the alpha's brows brought him back to reality, and the fires retract. 

That's when everyone in the room turns their heads to the vice president, then glances at the person he just mentioned. 

"You better help clean up. Stop looking pity, it's making my eyes sore," he uttered before bringing his attention back to what he is doing.

Guangyao felt his face heated with embarrassment, the people inside have their attention at him,  even Xichen who looks at him innocently, wondering why Mingjue suddenly snapped at him. 

Guangyao irritatedly turns his back to them, being humiliated and ignored are making his blood boil in anger, "I remember I need to do something," he grabbed his bag and excused himself, not even waiting for anyone in the room to speak.

Mingjue sighs exasperatedly as he watches Guangyao leave, "Let's just finish cleaning," he said to them.

"What happened to him?" Wei Ying whispered to the alpha beside him which Lan Zhan only answered with a shrug.

The day finished with the four having a double date, early dinner to be exact because Wei Ying and Jiang are still on their operation: avoid Yu Ziyuan. 

Before they leave the family diner, Wei Ying excused himself to go for a quick restroom.

"I'll go to the restroom too," The younger alpha bids soon after. 

Jiang Cheng glared at him suspiciously while Lan Xichen wriggles his eyebrows knowingly. 

Lan Zhan looked at them with his brow arched in confusion, "What?" he asked innocently, figuring out why is he being stabbed with glares by the beta and a mischievous grin from his brother. 

Jiang Cheng squinted his eyes as if warning him, "You better not do something funny," he warned. While Xichen just gave him a thumbs up. 

Lan Zhan is still confused, either way, he ignored them and made his way to the restroom.
