After replying to Lan Zhan's last message and telling his uncle that they are on their way, he decided to wait in his room since it will take time for them to arrive. He grabbed a textbook from his study table and slump his lazy self on his mattress, back reclining on the headboard of the bed. 

It caught him off guard when his reading was interrupted by a knock on his door, tilting his head, he looked at his side table clock, only to realize that he's been reading for twenty minutes, and hasn't kept on track of the time. He smiles softly as he turns his attention to the door, "You can just come in you know," he chuckles fondly. 

After giving his signal to the person outside, the door opened. Wei Ying was surprised to see his boyfriend all gloomy, dragging his feet inside and closing the door before locking it. He made his way to his omega's bed, sighing tiredly in the process before finally slumping his face down on the bed. His head buried on the omega's stomach and his body settling between the omega's legs, arms encircled on his thin waist, and a sigh of relief though muffled left his lips. 

Wei Ying chortles, one hand leaving the hold on his book and landing on the alpha's hair. Soft gentle caress comes down the alpha's hair as the alpha settles at the comfort. "Rough day?" the omega asked, eyes looking softly at his alpha. 

The alpha groans as an answer, burying his face deeper into his belly.

Wei Ying chuckles, "Your uncle?" he asks, kinda guessed since most of the alpha's frustrations are about his uncle. 

Lan Zhan nods, his head props to look at his omega, chin resting on his belly button, "Yeah. running his mouth off again," he sighs. 

"Hm? What did he say?" the omega asked, tilting his head innocently with a soft smile on his face. 

Lan Zhan looks away, pressing his lips together as words got stuck in his throat. Is it good to tell his omega about it? What if he gets scared and breaks it off with him? 

The omega immediately notices the alpha's aversion, he sees worries in his alpha's eyes that led him to cup his cheeks, forcing him to look him straight in the eyes, "Tell me," he says sternly, but his lips were formed into a sulky pout. 

Lan Zhan sighs defeatedly, smiling at his omega's adorableness. He then pushed himself up with little effort and seared a kiss on his boyfriend's lips which the omega answered with the same amount. After seconds long of the pressed kiss, they leaned away. "Before I tell you, remember that I will always be here to protect you, hm?" he declares. 

Wei Ying chortles. Of course, he knew his alpha won't do shit like leaving him, why is he worried about that? Though confused as to why his boyfriend telling him such things, he nods, thumbs rubbing soothing circles on his cheeks. "Mhm, I know, babe," he answers, smiling fondly at his boyfriend's cute gestures. 

Lan Zhan then looks away once again, trying to connect pieces of words in his mouth before opening them, "Well...uhm... Uncle already knew about us," he finally mutters, but his eyes never landed on the omega's too scared to see his omega's terrified face.

But what surprised him was a soft laugh coming from Wei Ying, he then eyes the omega only to see him cackling like what he said was nothing serious. The alpha raised a brow, confusion on his face as he thought the omega would be terrified knowing that. 

"So you're worried about that?" The omega raised a brow, a wide smile on his face. 

Lan Zhan nods, chin resting on his belly button once again.

"You're worried about useless things, babe. We'll figure it out together yeah?" he promised, kissing the tip of his nose before giggling. 

Lan Zhan hums, a love-struck smile on his face as he watches his omega in awe.
