Lan Zhan woke up to a cold scaly skin coiled on top of him. His eyes immediately shot to the source of the heavy feeling on his chest. There lies his husband, peacefully sleeping on top of him, his body is coiled in a round shape, his tail entwined with the alpha's left ring finger, and his head is rested flat at the crevice of his chest, breathing so soft like a baby. 

A soft smile left Lan Zhan's lips despite his half-open eyes, his heart quickens abruptly upon laying eyes on the gorgeous omega, beautifully sleeping even in his snake form. 

He sits up slowly in able to not wake his husband to get a better view of his adorableness. Then he reached for a soft rub on the omega's head while he release soft waves of his pheromones that made Wei Ying purr. 

As he watches his omega sleep, waves of memories came flashing into his mind. 

He smiles as he remembered how oblivious he was to his own feelings, thinking that it was just annoyance or loathing that he felt. He didn't dwell too much on his true feelings until they hit him like a surge of flood. 

He caresses Wei Ying's beautiful scales that snakeXian promptly rubs his head on his warm palms. How can he be so blind for almost three years? Why did he not realize it sooner? he could've been holding his omega onto his arms sooner. His life could've been happier sooner. 

Three years of oblivious pinning brought them closer than ever, and now here they are, wearing matching rings on their ring fingers, bite mark embedded onto his mate's neck, tied down with official papers, and having the same surname. 

 They took a long rough journey if they recall everything that happened. There were bumps and curves along the way, challenges and problems they solved together, and obstacles in the form of JIn Guangyao and Lan Qiren who keeps trying to ruin what they have until they fought back against them. It was rough yet they overcame them all like rainbows after a heavy rain. 

And now, they opened another series of their story, another journey they will write together, and a family of their own that they will nurture.

He reached for the omega's head, planting a soft gentle kiss between snakeXian's eyes, before trailing a kiss down the obvious existence of his mating mark on its scaly skin and plants another kiss. 

It took a second before the omega's eyes flutter open, sleepy snake eyes looking up at the alpha, before hissing lovingly at him. He then slowly crawls his way up to rub his head onto the alpha's cheeks as a sign of greeting. 

"Good morning, sunshine," Lan Zhan greeted with a loving smile. 

Wei Ying hisses fondly at him, headbutting his way to his cheeks, nose, and forehead before standing to get a good look at his husband's bareness in the morning, streaks of the sun's beams directly lighting the luscious muscle that he keeps feeling all over him while he gets breed by his alpha, it also made his faint hickeys and bite marks on the alpha's skin visible, and as he trails his eyes down, he can see the obvious lines and curves of his massiveness that he didn't think it will fit inside him, now he wonders how does that even went inside. Warmth crept his face upon recalling their first night. It was fortunate, that he is in his snake form, Lan Zhan could embarrassingly see how red he was. 

"Are you that tired that you turned to your snake form?" The alpha chuckles. Hands already cradling SnakeXian as he fixes his sit on the bed. 

SnakeXian only slithers his way to wrap his body onto the alpha's hips, to his torso, and to his shoulder where the bite marks he put sit, then he hisses a giggle. 

"Now your laughing at me, huh?" he remarks, cupping the omega's snake head, and leaning in to kiss his snakey lips. Wei Ying hisses blissfully, purposefully sticking his forked tongue to taste his alpha's lips, sensing the vibration of Lan Zhan's love for him.

But when the alpha leaned away, the omega immediately deflated, complaining in a hiss. He attempted to chase after the alpha's lips but the alpha was quick to stop him with both of his hands. "Uh-uh, better go back to your human form so you can get unlimited kisses," Lan Zhan smirked. 

Wei Ying hisses, tugging himself away from the alpha. After releasing himself, he sulkily slithers down from the bed, not batting an eye at him.

Lan Zhan only chortles fondly at his retreating omega, "My mate is slithering away," he mumbles to himself, as he stoops down the bed and turned to WolfJi. Then he runs with his four skilled legs, catching up with his escaping mate. Upon catching up with him, he gently picked him up with his mouth and brought him back to the bed before turning back to his human form, "Stop sulking, baby. Come on, I want my baby's lips on mine," he teases, grinning mischievously with a hint of something predatory. 

The idea of kissing his husband all morning weighs heavier than the comfort of his snake form, and so he transforms back onto his human form. Nakedly appearing in front of the alpha's sight, body full of violet, reddish, and pinkish hues of different shapes of kiss marks, and obvious outlines of perfect set of Lan Zhan's teeth also scattered alongside them.

Lan Zhan smirks at his masterpiece, proudly wanting to brag it to the world but rather keep it for him only. "Sexy!" he unknowingly uttered causing the omega to blush profusely.

"Stop!" the omega pouted, laying his chest flat onto the alpha's chest, "Now where's my kiss?" he sulks.

Lan Zhan only chuckles at his adorable husband before cupping both of his pink-hued cheeks and pressing a searing kiss on his luscious lips. Then he mumbles an "I love you," before his warm tongue disappears into Wei Ying's mouth. 

"I love you more!--hmpghghg" he mumbles in a muffled as he gets devoured.

Wei Ying and Lan Zhan sit in the living room like cats poured with water. Heads are held low as they get reprimanded by Fengmian and Ziyuan for their rash decisions. Their hands intertwined so tight with each other.

"Right! Tell them, mom, dad!" Wanyin snarled, feeling betrayed. His brows are furrowed deeply as he glares at the two newly husbands. While his mate sighed beside him at his disappointment in his brother. 

"We are not against you getting married, but you could've told us beforehand," Fengmian calmly reprimands. 

"How dare you get married before us?!" Wanyin complains, now already pouting. Xichen's head whipped immediately at his mate, eyeing him confusedly. And here he thought his omega is angry about the two's unannounced wedding?

"You could've waited for us to get married first!" Wanyin sulks.

Xichen's attention went to his omega, a fond smile on his lips as he hears the word 'married', and now his stomach churns with butterflies fluttering around.

Fengmian sighs, welp, guess he can do nothing with this anymore. It's already there, they just have to accept it. "Since you wedded unannounced, let's have breakfast and tell me later your plans, we'll talk about it," he announced, shaking his head, though disappointed, deep inside he's happy and proud of them. 

The two only looked at each other at the painstakingly long scolding, then they smiles lovingly as two sets of orbs meet. They didn't regret one bit of their decisions, it may be rushed but it was worth it. 

"DON'T ACT BE SO LOVE-DOVEY IN FRONT OF ME IDIOTS! I'M STILL MAD AT YOU!" Wanyin interrupted as his own alpha pulls him to the dining hall.

Lan Zhan and Wei Ying only laughed at him before Lan Zhan stood from his seat and stretch his hand in front of the omega.

"My slithering mate," Lan Zhan declares, "and my pretty husband.." he trails, heart warming at the sound of the new endearment, "let's go eat?" he asks.

Wei Ying giggles as he happily accepted the offer, intertwining his left hand that has his ring finger wrapped with their wedding ring. "You're so cheesy!" he complains, but deep inside he loves it.

Lan Zhan kissed his knuckles, "only for you," he declares before pulling him up. 

And they walked side by side, hearts connected for life, and ready for the next chapters of their story.
