"Ahh that was tiring!" Wei Ying grumbled under his breath as he mindlessly collapse his body upon entering his room. And as the ever-ready alpha he is, swiftly catches the omega into his arms. The omega then encircles his arms on the alpha's neck after feeling two strong arms holding him upright, he giggles.

"You did well," the alpha compliments, leaning to plant a kiss on his forehead. 

The omega giggles at the alpha's kiss, "It's because you were with me," he replies, playfully kissing the alpha on his chin. 

"Even if I was not there you'll still do well," the alpha smiles and started walking to the bed with Wei Ying on drag. 

"You're my charm!" the omega giggles, letting himself get dragged across the floor by his boyfriend, secretly enjoying the free ride. 

Lan Zhan only chortles at his omega's words as he finally reaches the bed and softly lets go of his omega. But the omega didn't let go of his neck, instead, he pulled him with him causing the both of them to fall on the bed, the alpha on his top. They both giggled at the sudden weight. 

"That's dangerous," the alpha scolded but the omega doesn't care and just giggled at the crook of his alpha's neck. 

"I just wanna rest!" the omega grumbles, inhaling a whiff of his alpha's sandalwood and lavender scent directly from Lan Zhan's scent gland. 

Lan Zhan immediately notices the subtle sniffing of the omega which the omega thought the alpha won't notice, and so, Lan Zhan subtly releases just a small amount, enough to bring comfort to the omega. "You should change first before you drift to sleep, baby," the alpha reminded him. 

But Wei Ying only hums with his small purrs, basking into the alpha's warmth and the gentle whiff of his pleasant alphan pheromones.

Lan Zhan sighs, smiling at the sound of his omega's purr, "You change or I'll do it for you?" he threatens. His hands threatening to pull his clothes off. 

The omega immediately jolts, his eyes are wide as he pushes the alpha away when he felt the alpha's hands that were about to remove them. His cheeks were bashfully red as he stood up, and scrambled his way to the bathroom. "I can do it myself!" he shouts before closing the door clumsily.

Lan Zhan only laughs at him as he watches his shy omega run away from him, "Cute." he muttered before slumping his body on the bed, face first. He groans on the pillow, equally tired and horny.

After they changed into comfy matching pajamas, they lay on the bed, legs intertwined and arms draped across each other's waist. The alpha's chin rests on the omega's head while the omega buries his face onto Lan Zhan's chest. 

It was a good thing that Lan Zhan was able to release whatever pent-up release he was holding a while ago before he gets out of his suit and have his shower. If not, the omega would be embarrassingly noticed it and would have been troubled by it, Lan Zhan could've not been able to cuddle his omega in the most innocent way.

 He's fully aware that the omega is tired from being the star of the night and going around the party ground to meet all the visitors and business partners, so he cannot let his omega trouble himself by tending to his alpha's needs. His omega's rest is what's important right now. 

It was a comfortable silence for minutes until the omega spoke. 

"Hm, babe," Wei Ying mumbles, whilst burying himself deeper into the alpha's chest while the alpha closes any gaps between them, (if there's still a gap). 

The alpha takes notice the rumbling of Wei Ying's voice on his chest, he hums back, "Yes, baby?"

"I  love you," he utters, voice coming out muffled. 

Lan Zhan chortles, hands rubbing soothing circles at his omega's back, "Love you more," he answers. 

"I love you most!" Wei Ying suddenly popped up his head to look up at his alpha, eyes determined to not lose to the alpha. 

Lan Zhan raised a brow at him, grinning at the silly determined eyes his omega is giving him, "I love you more than most," he replies, indulging the omega's silliness. 

The omega pouted, "I love you much more than your most!" he sulks. 

Lan Zhan chuckles, fingers combing the omega's hair, "Hm, you win then," he surrenders, smiling lovingly at his adorable pout.

The omega only grins, eyes fluttering close but forcing himself to stay awake, "I win!" he mumbles sleepily. 

The alpha smiles, "You should sleep now, my angel. You'll have private meetings to attend to tomorrow," he reprimands, shaking his head at his omega's attempts to stay awake despite his sleepy self. "You need to meet your business partners that were not able to attend today, you know? That'll be tiring and you need lots of rest and energy for tomorrow," he added. 

The omega only pouts, unable to understand anything as sleep is already clouding his mind, "Hm, But I'm not *yawns* sleepy yet..." he mumbles, eyes hooded as he looks up at the alpha. 

Lan Zhan chortles, "But you are," he teased, kissing his right eye.

The omega's eyes instinctively closed because of the alpha's kiss and stays that way until the alpha leans away. 

"I'm not-" the omega mumbles at last, voice fading until it turns to soft breathing, an indication that he's already drifted to a peaceful sleep. The exhaustion finally possesses his whole body. 

The alpha only stifles a laugh. He then kisses his forehead, lightly releasing comforting scents and settling their bodies on the bed in the most comfortable way, his arms as the omega's pillows while his other arm is draped securely on the omega's waist before he pulls up the blanket to cover them. 

"Good night, babe," he mumbles, chin resting on top of the omega's head once again. Then his eyes close, succumbing to sleep as he listens to the gentle purrs of melody from the omega.
