"Hey, there's something worth celebrating today!" Xichen excitedly utters as they walk at the not-so-crowded hall of the education building. Jiang Cheng beside him just rolled his eyes with a fond smile on his face. 

Huaisang, Lan Zhan, and Wei Ying look at the older alpha way, "What is it, Xichen-ge?" Wei Ying and Huaisang beamed in unison. 

Xichen grins, "Well, it won't be a celebration without food right?" he chirps, "Where do you want to eat? My treat!" he declares making the two omega's eyes twinkle in delight. 

Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes once again, "You don't need to treat them, babe. They have the means to buy their own food," he saltily comes back.

The two pouted, "So stingy!" they commented.

Xichen chuckles at his mate, "Nah, I will treat them. Just this once, yeah?" he coos his omega, encircling his arm from his back to the other side of his arm, soothingly rubbing it. 

Jiang Cheng just sighs in defeat, "Fine," he answers, furtively leaning close to his alpha. 

The two beamed and rejoiced at Wanyin's permit.

"Oh, call your brother too, so I don't need to treat him separately," Lan Xichen added. Huaisang immediately obliged and fished out his phone as fast as he could and dialed his brother's number. 

While the other omega was busy, Xichen turn his attention to the rest of them, "Where do you want to eat?" he asked. 

"Where there is no fish," Jiang cheng answered flatly, comfortably leaning on his alpha as Xichen hold him by the waist. 

Wei Ying rolled his eyes at his brother, "So picky," he scoffs and Cheng just stuck a tongue out as an answer.

"How about the place where you and Wanyin go to? The one with separate rooms," Lan Zhan suggested with a tilt of his head. 

Wei Ying beamed, "Oh, right! That one!" he answers.

Jiang Cheng just nods, "Fine with me," he replies. 

"Oh, that one? It's comfortable there, better for the b- ouch!" he was immediately cut by a heavy punch from his omega on his chest, not the punch that actually injures but not light as well, it was just enough to make him feel slight pain. "-for my baby," he reinforces with a sheepish smile. 

Just as Wei Ying was about the suspicious slip of Xichen's tongue when Huaisang came back beaming, "He said we can go ahead. We'll just message him the address and he'll come after his club activities," he replies. 

"Great, then let's go!" he utters. 

They were haven't left the campus yet when Lan Zhan's phone beeped, the youngest alpha's eyes turn to his phone and read whatever he received.

Then turns to them, "Uhm, I- I think I can't join you guys," Lan Zhan utters. 

The rest of them looked at him swiftly, "why?" His omega asked, tilting his head curiously at the last-minute cancellation of his boyfriend. 

"There's something I need to do. So... uhm I'll make up to you later, yeah?" he sheepishly apologizes. 

His omega looks at him curiously but nodded anyway. He trusts his alpha, he'll tell him sooner or later... probably...

Lan Zhan then eyed his brother, 'Did she came early? I thought she'll be here this weekend?' Xichen asked with his eyes. 

The younger alpha shrugs, 'don't know. But I need to fetch her or she'll sulk,' he answers back, Xichen answers with a nod. 

"I'll see you soon, babe. Do tell me the surprise later," he whispers to his omega before leaning close to plant a kiss on his forehead. 

Wei Ying is still confused and dumbfounded altogether as he nods, it must be too urgent for his alpha to ditch their get-together. "Take care, love. Have safe driving," he reminded his alpha.
