SUNNY Donated RM 10 Million to Flood Victims in Malaysia

To those who don't know, Peninsular Malaysia had been struck by a terrible flood. It started on the 17th of December when heavy rain poured and doesn't stop for days.

Water quickly rises and people had to move out of their houses to higher places. Currently, the rain has stopped and people are back in their houses, cleaning and throwing ruined furniture.

Malaysian citizens are all donating to the victims and according to some sources, this huge flood only occurs once in 50 years. The same incident happened in 1971 when the water rises up to 5 meters which is really high.

Yesterday, official Malaysian news reported that SUNNY had donated RM 10 million to the victims of the flood through her brother. The money was used to buy essential things and also to hire people to cook for the victims who are still in a safe place and have to clean their houses first.

Yesterday, SUNNY also uploaded her Instagram for the first time since January regarding Malaysia's flood incidents. She uploaded photos of the ruined houses and thick mud on the road.

She wrote in the caption; "My heart dropped after hearing about the terrible flood occurring in Malaysia currently. Heavy rain had caused a terrible floor, overflowing water from the river and I was also informed that the dam has started to break which worries me a lot. I was informed that the water has to be released from time to time to prevent the concrete dam from breaking and creating a bigger impact. I would like to apologize that I will not be able to help physically in Malaysia. But my team with my brothers, @00adr_ian and @c.cavin will be around to monitor and help the team."

SUNNY continued, "I would also like to send my condolences to the family who have lost their love ones in this flood. I was informed that 7 were killed in this floor and over a hundred are lost currently. I am sorry for your lost. To people overseas who wants to donate, you can visit my website in my Instagram bio. Till this afternoon, 500,000 dollars have been gathered to be donated to the people in need during this flood season in Malaysia. Let us all continue to include Malaysia in our prayers.
