HYBE Label Released Official Statement Regarding SUNNY's Exposed Photos January 1st, 2022. Written by Jung Hye-ri.
After a few days of annoying sasaengs and anti-fans raiding Sunny, HYBE Label has finally released an official statement on their official Twitter account. Read the statement below;
"Hello, this is HYBE LABEL.
Recently, there has been a surge in malicious posts targeting our artist SUNNY such as libel, personal attacks, sexual harassment, and defamation of character.
In addition, SUNNY has also opened a private Instagram account for her PRIVACY but it was exposed INTENTIONALLY and leaked lots of photos that are meant to be PRIVATE.
We are therefore informing you that we will be taking legal action in response to these matters.
Despite our own continuous monitoring and all the reports, we received, we have tried to overlook [these posts] as "freedom of expression." However, we have decided that the actions of certain individuals who have continuously targeted SUNNY with groundless malicious posts have gone beyond the level where we can just stand by and watch.
Therefore, using our own continuous monitoring and the evidence we receive in reports, our agency plans to move forward with filing a lawsuit through a legal representative, and we will be making a firm response without leniency.
We would like to thank fans who have been reporting these matters to us by sending proofs in our email. SUNNY is thankful and appreciates your hard work.
