SUNNY Graduated with A Degree in TESL March 25th, 2023. Written by Jung Hye-ri.
You heard it right, folks. Seoul National University had just posted an official photo of the 2023 graduates and SUNNY, is one of them.
SUNNY enrolled in the prestigious university in 2020 and since then, she has been learning to be a teacher, teaching English as a second language in South Korea.
A lecturer of SUNNY said during graduation that SUNNY was a bright and indeed, a committed student. Despite being one of the world's favorite artist, SUNNY still maintain her low profile in the university and live like a normal university student when she's studying.
Present at her graduation ceremony was her family and a surprise to everyone when SUNNY's oldest brother, Adrian was also present. SUNNY broke down in tears when she saw Adrian already using crutches to walk rather than a wheelchair. She was quick to run to him and embrace him in relief and thankfulness. It has been about 4 months since Adrian was involved in a car crash and is currently recovering from life-threatening injuries.
Along with SUNNY's family was also Sunwoo who came to support SUNNY together with some members of TXT, ENHYPEN, ITZY's Yuna, and BLACKPINK's Jisoo.
Yes, we are surprised that SUNNY is actually close with BLACKPINK's Jisoo. Seungkwan from SEVENTEEN also uploaded a video of him and SUNNY on a video call and him congratulating SUNNY on her graduation and promising her that he will bring her out to eat.
After the graduation, SUNNY uploaded a few photos of her with her family, friends, and Sunwoo on her Instagram story, thanking them for coming to her graduation.
Now, that's an educated woman we're talking about!
