Chapter 25

She approached nervously. She didn't like the vibe she was getting. Benton was sitting with Ross. They were speaking about something. Her throat ran dry as she got closer. He was first to notice her. He smirked at her right before Ross looked up.Their eyes met and she felt all her fears disappear. "I hope you can speak to me some other time then. I have something very important to talk to you about." He smirked looking at her once again.She balled her first.He got up and shook his hand. "Thank you for your time." He said and turned to face her. "Hello Laura. You look lovely." He smirked and trodded away. That look all around gave her the creeps. Then her prince got up and welcomed her properly. She smiled.

"You look wonderful." She smiled as he held her hand. "Why thank you." She said. "How your so very welcome". He told her. She giggled. He was so charming and she was so adorable. He couldn't get oer the fact that she was just that pretty. There was just something about her that drew him to her. Fast and easily. He just had to get a glance and it was over. She cupped her face and leaned towards him, just admiring him. He thought it was cute so he did the same. It wasn't awkward just weird. Then she remembered he'd talk to her about the files she seen earlier. But this was a date and she didn't want to talk about it if it had been disapproving news. She couldn't be upset if he told her. But it seemed like it would upset her. But she trusted him. She was sure it wasn't bad news at all. For the time being, she let the thought leave her mind.

"So..." He said. She smiled. "Yes?" She asked. "Can I please?" He asked her. She shook her head."No. Not at all." She smirked. He sighed. "No fair." He pouted. She giggled that infectious giggle making all his insides turn. He stared at her as she did. She slowly stopped and looked at him. "What?" She asked."Just admiring how cute you are. And did I tell you that you look absolutely gorgeous. Breath taking." He asked her. She blushed and held out her hand. "Oh stop it." She said fanning herself. He chuckled. "You look handsome as always." She said. He blushed. "I want to say I'm sorry for cancelling." He said. She smiled. "Its okay. Its not like you cancelled because you just wanted to. Its because you had work. And I respect that. Your busy. Its fine." She said holding his hand. He smiled rubbing circles around her knuckles. "You...Are just amazing." He said then kissing her hand. "I know." She smirked. He rolled his eyes as they enjoyed the rest of their time together. The thought never left for sure. She clamped her mouth shut and took a few glances over to him.Its cute.

"You wanna tell me about the little files now?" She asked making circles on his chest.He looked away for a second. Yeah no. "Um...Well you see..." He stammered. She stopped and looked at him. "Tell me." She said. He sighed and sat up. "I have files on everyone." He said. "But what was mine doing on your desk?" She asked. He shook his head. "That's top secret." He said and kissed her forehead. He then got up. She got up also. "Top secret!? You promised me that you would tell me! Now tell me!" She said a bit mad. A promise is a promise. Its not meant to be broken. But this is a promise he couldn't keep. "So you lied to me? You said we'd talk about it later. Its later. Tell me why you had a folder on me and why it was on your desk." She said crossing her arms over his chest. "How about this? You calm down. Relax and I give you that massage?" He asked avoiding the topic. Her eyebrow raised and her face grew a scowl.
"Your cute. Don't change the subject." She threatened. "Your just as cute." He said boping her nose. He then leaned down and rubbed their noses together. "Your so cute oh yes you are." He said. She rolled her eyes that softened a little. "I love you." He said pecking her cheek and starting to leave her room. "Hold on there boss nan. Is that was it then tell me why Benton was here today?" She asked. He turned around to face her. "He was here to give me news. He said it was pretty exciting." He told her. Her blood boiled. "Can you not talk to him?" She asked. He looked at her weird. "Why not?" He asked. She looked around for an excuse. "Because you won't like anything that comes out of his mouth." She said. He raised his eye brow. "Okay? And he's now a business partner so I have to talk to him anyway."He said. She growled as he looked down.

She was practically cursing under her breath and hoping that they never speak again. "Well lovely, I'm gonna let you off tonight." He said. She looked at him confused. He started massage her shoulders. She instantly started to relax. He wasn't even trying either. "Towards my collarbone." She directed. He nodded and moved towards it. She tilted her head back onto his chest, enjoying the reliefs of stress off her shoulders. Of course he wasn't gonna give it to her for free.He pecked lips and changed sides. Towards her back. She groaned as he heard her bones pop here and there. "Damn. What have you been doing?" He asked her. She chuckled. "I've been working." She said. He ran his hand over her neck. She bit her lip as he continued to. Her neck felt warmer and he liked it.He moved her hair out the way. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pressed his lips against her neck. She met with his hands and entwined their hands, holding herself with him. He tightened his grip and sunk deeper into her neck.
