Chapter 32

He sat in his chair with a calm expression. He looked at them like they were stupid or something. He entwined his hands. "Laura is no longer on the bargin. She has been off for a while now. Someone else already has it now. Your just a little late." He said calmly. He looked at him confused. For someone who had a gun to their head, he was handling it really well. "Well...Go ahead. Do it." He said. The guy knew it though. It was all a test. Ross hasn't realised it yet, but it was happening. Even if he doesn't realise it. The guy retrieved his gun. As he did, the guards came and retrieved him also. The other guys backed up and stood up also. Security filled his entire room. "Laura is no longer a part of it." He repeated trying to get them to understand.

"Your lieing." He said speechless. "No. I'm telling you exactly what you need to know." He said getting off his seat. "No. She was here just yesterday." He said. He tilted his head. "And how would you know that?" He asked. "Benton told me she was here." He said. He clenched his jaw. "She was but she was visiting. She's no longer here." He said lieing through his teeth. He laughed. "She's here. If you won't hand her over like you said so, then I'm taking her myself." He threatened "In my home? I don't think so." He said. "Oh I know so." He said getting the security guy off of him. "Don't touch me". He said and signaled for his men to do the same."We're leaving under our own power. Lets go guys." He said and walked out. The guys followed him out. Each of them glaring at him. He sighed and sat back in his seat. The guards followed them out just in case. He relaxed.

He grabbed a little meal and made his way to her room. He unlocked the door and walked in. She was cuddled in her blanket as she looked at her tv. She looked up as she seen him. "I thought that door was locked." She said quietly. He shook his head and acted as if he knew nothing about it. "Why would it be locked?" He asked. "It can only be locked from the inside." He said. She shrugged and looked back at the tv. " I brought you some food." He said showing her the food he had in his hands. She looked back over then looked back at her tv. "I'm not hungry." She said. He looked at confused and placed the food on her table. "Are you sure? You look like you haven't eaten all day." He said. She rolled her eyes. "Okay sure." She said and continued to stare at the tv. He picked up the remote and shut it off. She looked at him angrily. "We need to talk." He said to her. She didn't move and just looked at him.

"What's with the face?" He asked. "What do you want?" She asked softly. "I'll tell you what I want." He said and sat with her. She held herself tightly. "Relax." He said. She didn't want to see him now. "I am relaxing." She said. He knew she was mad for sure. Her shaking fists gave her away. "Laur..." He started. "No. Just leave me alone." She said looking away. He crawled and hugged her. She tilted her head upwards to stop the tears. He rubbed her cheek. She shook her head to stop him. He hugged her tightly. Her face started to heat up. "I said I was sorry and you knew....." She started to cry. He held her. "Please don't cry." He said cupping her face and wiping off the tears srreaming down her face. "Its just because you are superior over everyone so you think your better than the rest of us." She said. He nodded and hugged her again. She sniffed and avoided his gaze.

"And to top it off, you were a real jerk about it. You mind as well kicked me over and over again." She cried. He frowned. He wanted to tell her but he couldn't . He looked away for a second. "I'm sorry." He said softly. She looked at him. "No your not." She said and tried to get out of his grip. He held her closer. "Its okay. I'm sorry." He said. "Why did you have to do that?" She asked.He cupped her face and looked at her. "I need to." He said. She looked in his eyes and stared at him. "There are things I need to tell you." He said softly. He pressed his lips on her forehead. She closed her eyes and enjoyed for a slipt second. She remembered the scene she saw earlier and pulled away. "Go with Tammy..." She said bitterly. He pulled back and looked at her shocked.

She crossed her arms and looked away. "I promise you that Tammy is nothing to me." He said. She stuck out her bottom lip signaling she didn't believe him. "She forced herself on me. I got a restraining order filed on her. I promise. Here's another promise I made but I failed to do it. I was gonna make you happy. But your not." He frowned. She looked at him. "I will. I will do it." He said. She looked away once again. He uncrossed her arms and wrapped her up in his arms. He kissed her cheek. She relaxed a little. He showered her with kisses to relax her fully. He tickled her. She laughed. "I'm sorry I was such a huge jerk. I knew it all." He said. She tilted head. He pecked her lips.She was shocked for a second. He chuckled. "Desperate times call for desperate measures." He said. "You wanted what your mom lacked to get. So I totally understamd." He said. "Excuse me?" She asked as her face scrutched up and twisted. Her anger started to boil. "That's my mom your talking about..." She said through gritted teeth.
