Chapter 24

She started to feel like loser as soon as she didn't hear him say anything. She slowly started to hang up when she suddenly heard him tell her to stop. "I love you too." He said. She smiled. "You do?"She asked. He nodded even though she couldn't see him. "Yes."He said. "Well...I'll see you later then?"She asked. "Yes you will."He said. She giggled and said a little bye then hung up. She went to her room for the night and got into her bed. She went to sleep feeling a bit litter than usual. It was awkward but hey! Love is love! But was this actual love!?

He ran his fingers through his hair taking in all of his surroundings. He was tired and stressed. But his little lady friend was coming home and he couldn't wait to see her. He was only focused on her. He cleared his schedule just for her but he didn't tell her that the night before. First she'd be a bit mad that he did that but a little happy on the inside. I mean,he's been taking rein checks and it wouldn't kill to take a little bit of time off now would it? He was happy to go get her but he couldn't, he had 3 folders he needed to hide before she came. And that was exactly what he was doing. He was doing it to protect her but when she finds it, she won't see it that way. She wants to see everything associated with her father but these are just things he couldn't give her. He could ease her into it little by little but she'll get suspicious. The more clueless she is, the better. There came a knock at the door. He quickly locked the safe and cleared his throat. "Come in."He said.

"Did you miss me?"Her voice rang in his ears. He stood up. She laughed as she closed the door and ran into his arms. "Oh god yes."He said squeezing her in his arms. She loved his hugs. He was practically crushing her but she didn't mind. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her waist. He kissed her almost immediately. She giggled as she kissed him back. He deepened it. He missed her for a few days and he wasn't ready to let her go. And neither was she. She wanted to keep him right in place. It was getting a little out of hand so she pulled away. He kissed down her neck as she giggled and eyed the papers on his desk. Her smile faded a little as she saw her name on it. "Rossy?"She called him. He continued and groaned. "Hm?'He asked her. She pulled away and made him look at her. "What's that?"She asked. He looked back at the papers and shrugged. "It's nothing."He said pulling her towards him. She put her hand on his chest. "No.What's that?"She asked him once again. He pulled away from her and sat back at his desk.

"Can we talk about it later? I have only 12 minutes left."He said. She wasn't sure about that. "Um...Why can't we talk about it now?"She asked. "We will. I promise. Just hold on. I want to talk to you about a lot of stuff."He said. "Okay. I'll be in my room and waiting for that massage."She winked. He blushed and nodded. "I'll be there baby."He said. She laughed and turned to walk away. With those hips of hers swaying right behind her. He smirked checking her ass out a bit. "I see you staring". She smirked. Oh yeah. Busted. He blushed and looked away. She giggled and walked out of the room. He took the paper and quickly put it through the paper shredder. 'One down. Just got to find the other 2 pages.' He thought. He looked around for it. He seen them lying in with the other stuff. He quickly walked over to and you already know what he did next. Shoved them into the shredder also. He sighed in relief and looked at the time. 4 minutes. He smiled.

She came out of nice steamy shower. It was a nice way to unwind after a full week of work and no breaks in between. She wrapped herself is a towel and walked into her room. There she found a note along with a rose. She smiled and walked over to it. 'Sorry for taking so long.I hope this makes it up to you. Meet me at the resturant below on the roses at 8. I love you~Ross♡'. She smiled at his sweetness. She looked at the time. 6:30. She had time. She quickly dashed fir her closet. Looking and searching through every angle. It took her almost an hour. She was running and rushing to do her hair. She ran the brush through it gently and tried putting her make up on. One she did all her makeup, she looked at it and wasn't happy. So she went his favorite look on her. Natural. She looked at her closet once more and tried to find something.

One dress caught her eye. She smiled. This dress was her mom's. Her mom wore on her tenth anniversary with her dad. She smiled thinking back to just how beautiful her mom looked that night.She was like 6 or 7 that time but she could still remember her smile. Thinking of that just made her smile and her stomach turn in knots. She picked up the dress and carefully slipped into it. It was special. Just like she was. She walked over to the jewlery box. She put on her grandmother's necklace and her hoop earrings. She slipped into her heels and she was was ready. She felt pretty and confident. She walked to the resturant with her head held high, but it all came to an end when she saw a sight, she never wanted to see again.
