Chapter 36

He looked at her as she slept peacefully. He sighed as he reached over for his phone. "Yes. Its me.Its time." He said. She turned over. "Alright. Be there in a few." They said. He nodded and hung up just as she opened her eyes.She smiled at him. He smiled back as she sat up. "Your happier now than you were last night." He said. She laughed. He chuckled. "Don't remind me." She rolled her eyes. He smiled and kneeled in front of her. "Stop being like that." He said as he placed his hands on either side of her. She rolled her eyes. "So I guess you want me to be nice your employees now don't you?" She asked. "You do if you want to survive." He told her.

She crossed her arms. "You better get me out of this mess." She said grabbing his nose and pinching it. He chuckled. "Very well. You should get up. You have to leave soon." He said. She reached up to him. "How much time?" She asked wrapping her arms around his neck. He rubbed her cheeks. "I don't like the way your acting right now." She said. He tilted his head confused. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Its as if you know something but you are trying your best to hide it from me." She said. "How do you know that?" He asked her. "Look at me." She said making him look at her. He looked at her. "You are aren't you?" She asked. He took her into his arms.

"I'm just scared." He admited. She smiled. "Why?" She asked. "I won't see you for atleast a month." He said. She looked at him like "what you say!?" She raised her eyebrow. "See." He said. She smiled. "I'm glad your worried. But I'll be fine. You know why? Because your running it." She said. He painfully smiled. "I'll come for you." He whispered as he hugged her tightly. "What'd you say?" She asked as she pulled back. "Get dressed. I'm gonna get your ride ready." He said sadly. She smiled and kissed him. He kissed back. There then came a knock at the door. Sh smiled and pulled away. She then got up. "Get that." She said pecking his lips once more before disappearing into her bathroom. "I'm sorry". He whispered. He took a deep breath and answered the door.

"I knew you'd make the right choice." He smirked. He balled his fist. "I swear to god you hurt her, you will see yourself in the dust." He threatened. He handed him the file. "Now. You give me what I want and everything is okay. No one gets hurt. You know except for your little precious Laura." He smirked. He tightened his jaw even more. "Treat her right." He said. "Oh I will.I'll even make her my baby mama on the way." He said. Ross had to control himself. It was for Laura's safety. He reminded himself that. He was fuming that's for sure. "You wanna tell me a few details. You know..." He winked. "Your making me regret this." He said. "A deal is a deal. You can't just change all of a sudden." He said. He got up and paced.

He just sat there smirking. He won now. " Poor girl thinks she's going to a secret faculity." He laughed. He reached over his desk and grabbed his collar. "Maybe I didn't make this clear enough for you, but I will now. You hurt her, I kill you. And these little groups you have here are the last thing you need for protection." He said through his teeth. "But incase you haven't noticed, your gonna be the one hurting her most."He said causing him to loosen his grip on his collar. He pulled out of his grip on his collar and backed away. "You promised her. You told her you'd protect. Now your handing her off like she's nothing." He smirked. Ross held his head. "Your not just playing her but your playing yourself also. And to think...." He laughed. He ran his fingers through his hair. He took a deep breath before he continued to pace in place.

"Your choice. Everything your mom has ever wanted is right here. Right in your hands. Are you gonna trade all of that for some girl?" He asked him. "She's not just some girl. And if you keep calling her that or anything else, I will knock you jaw in." He said as he clicked his pen. He laughed. "Well your tossing her like she is nothing." He said. He was just looking for that straw. He wanted to put that straw and Ross knew that. "I mean is nothing. Besides the fact that she is pretty hot. Other than that, the girl probably has no potiential other than--" He cut him off. It was over. It was done. He balled his fist nice and tight. The knuckles cracking with every movement. He grabbed him and his fist collided with his face. The other guys pulled them away from each other. Ross backed up but he felt him smirking behind him.

He took the file and looked in it. There was almost nothing in it. It was one single line. "You will never be the one of all." It read. He turned back and looked back at the guy. "Nice." He said. He nodded his head. He punched him right in the mouth catching him by surprise. The Master touched his lip. It was busted. He wiped off the blood on his lip. "Nice ain't it. Your in a relationship that all you do is hurt the other one in the worst possible way ever." He said. He punched him in the face once again. The guys held their guy back as he was left untouchable. "I know right.Some more than others. Considering they promised to do something but can never keep it." He heard the pained voice come from the crammed room. "Laura...." He said. She dashed out the room before he could even catch up to her. "Nice." He mocked. Ross immediately grabbed him and there was no going back.
