your currently celebrating your brother's first birthday. your dad invited the madrigals over to spend time with your family. you are putting up the rest of the decorations and hear a knock. you go get it and see the Madrigals standing there.
"hello everyone. come in " you smile
"hi" you hear Tomas say
you look and smile at your little brother who's holding on to the couch staring.
"aww he's so cute" Julieta said
everyone gets settled inside and your dad peeks out the kitchen.
"senora Madrigal welcome. " he said
"Peter you know you can call me Alma. " she said smiling at him.
he chuckles and nods. she joins him and your tia in the kitchen.
"you look beautiful " you said looking at pepa
"thank you mi sol" she said
you sit down on the floor and Tomas takes a few steps before falling.
"are all babies so uncoordinated?" Bruno ask
"like you?" Julieta ask chuckling
Bruno pouts but Julieta side hugs him to know she's just teasing. Tomas goes to Pepa and grabs on to her leg and smiles up at her.
"tommy that's my girl. " you said to the baby
he just giggles and Pepa picks him up.
"hm i don't know. i think he's the cuter (L/N) brother. " pepa said and smirks at you
"well then no kisses" you whisper in her ear
she looks at you with her enchanting eyes.
"mi sol..." she said
"ugh you know i can't resist. " you said and peck her lips
Bruno whispers something to Julieta who whispers something to Pepa who laughs.
"triplet talk?" you ask
they all nod. Tomas baby talks to Pepa then goes to his toys. you give him a ball you got him and he happily plays with it. Pepa lays her head on your shoulder as you watch the baby. Bruno gets on the floor and play with him.
your tia comes out and picks up Tomas
"i'm going to feed him and then change him so we can take pictures" she said excited
"okay Tia." you smile at her.
"so (y/n).. i am going to need some things for a new recipe. " Julieta said
"just make me a list and i will get you the best of the best" you smile
"you are the best" she said
you smile small.
"mi sol i'm a little cold" Pepa said
you knew that's her way of saying she wants your ruana. you chuckle knowing her trick and take it off and give it to her. she smiles big and put it on.
"she's got you wrapped around her finger. " Bruno said
"eh i don't mind." you said and kiss Pepa's head.
"just get married already" Bruno said
you chuckle.
"you guys just turned 17 not so long ago. im waiting till 18. " you said
"whatever old man" Pepa said
"im not old. im 19. " you said looking at her.
after a while you all sing Tomas happy birthday and you help him blow out his candle. you put frosting on his nose and he giggles.
"when i did that to you as a kid you cried " you dad said chuckling
"Tomas likes weird things" you said then stick your tongue out at your dad.
you all have cake and enjoy Tomas's little party.
"can i talk to you ?" Pepa ask
you nod and she takes you outside so nobody hears. she leads you to the garden in the back and you look at her.
"is everything okay?" you ask concern.
"yeah i just wanted to do this" she said
before you can ask anything she kisses you. you kiss back and she smiles in the kiss. you pull away and smile at her.
"didn't want anyone seeing you kiss the most handsome guy in town?" you ask pulling her close
"well maybe i just want to make out with my handsome boyfriend without our family seeing. that is kind of weird." she said and puts a hand on your chest.
she pecks your lips and look up at you.
"how do you do that?" you ask
"so what?"
"how do you get me under your control so easy with your eyes? Pepa you have me madly deeply in love with you. to the point that if i could I'd marry you right now " you said
she blushes
"do you really want to marry me one day?" she ask
"why wouldn't i?"
"because i'm a mess.. i can't control my emotions, im insecure even though i act like i have everything under control, and you can do so much better... and i hurt you. " she said looking at your arm
you grab her and put it over your heart.
"you feel that?" you ask
she nods and looks at you
"my heart beats for you Pepa Madrigal. I love you. Anything you throw my way i can handle. you never meant to hurt me and i don't hold that against you. heck now i have proof that i'm yours. I'm here for you no matter what. heck just last week we was dancing in the rain after you cried. I don't want to be there for you only on sunny days mi vida. I'd be there in rain, snow, hail and anything else. I'll be your strength when you're down. on that i promise. " you said
you put out your pinky and Pepa smiles and wraps her finger around yours.
