You and Agustin are sitting in the front having a few beers and talking.
"so do you think you are going to have a boy or girl?" you ask him
"hm i don't know. as long as it's a healthy baby that's all that matters" he said
you look up and notice a rainbow
"someone is extra happy" you said
"maybe your getting lucky tonight" Agustin jokes
you both laugh.
"who knows... oh did you also notice Bruno coming in late last night?" you said
he nods
"he had a date with Cecilia. " Agustin said
"we have to go bother him about that" you said
"let's do it now before he goes " Agustin said
you both get up and start heading inside. you walk past the kitchen.
"you have to tell him Pepa" Julieta said
"i will but i'm kind of nervous " she admits
you decide to go in the kitchen
"tell who what?" you said and take a sip of the beer in your hand
"oh just something " pepa said
you go to kiss her but she gives you her cheek
"hey" you pout
"you have liquor on your lips" she said and kiss your cheek
"that never bothered you before " you said and pull her close
"(nickname) Bruno is on the move" Agustin said
"we will continue this later" you said and let Pepa go
you follow Agustin and the girls just look at each other wondering what you two are up to. they can hear you shouting Bruno's name as you and Agustin chase him.
"i'm just scared I'll lose this baby too" Pepa said when she's sure you are gone
"i'm here with you. our babies will grow up together. " Julieta said and hold on to pepa's hands as if that's a promise
Pepa smiles at her sister and hugs her. they hug for a bit.
"do you think Bruno will check for me.. to make sure i have the baby?" Pepa ask
"i think he will but do you really want to ask him?" she ask
"yes i do.. i just want to be sure or i might be stress this whole pregnancy" she said
"then go for it. " Julieta said smiling.
the two end up enjoying the rest of the day together and you and agustin come back a little before dinner with Bruno.
"mi sol can i talk to you upstairs?" Pepa said seeing you
"anything for my beautiful wonderful wife" you said and kiss her cheek.
you two go upstairs. you sit on the bed as she closes the door. she goes into her night stand and hand you a pregnancy test. you look at it then at her.
"for real?" you ask tearing up
she nods. you hug her and she hugs back. you feel yourself getting wet. Pepa is crying happily.
"i can talk to my tia about checking on you every day and we can do bed rest to make sure you and the baby are okay" you start
"let's see what she thinks first." Pepa said hearing the nerves in your voice
"sorry i just want to make sure you two are okay"
you kiss her stomach and smile at it lovingly.
"i can't wait to get a bump and know the baby is growing" Pepa said
"we got this. i will do anything to make sure you have a healthy pregnancy. " you said
you lay your head on her lap and look at her stomach. Pepa plays with your hair.
"hi little baby. i'm your papi. Mami and I love you so so much. you grow and get big and strong. I can't wait to read and hold you. " you said to her stomach
"you are going to be a great papi" Pepa said
"and you are going to be an amazing mami" you said
she smiles at you.
"are you going to tell your mami?" you ask
"i want us to tell everyone when i'm further along.. i don't want anyones hopes up" Pepa said sighing
you sit up and just hold her knowing she needs a hug. she cuddled into you abit
"thank you.. for being here for me whenever i need you. I don't think any other man would treat me the same way" she said
"i'm here because i love you. I'll always love you" you said with a smile
one thing for sure is Pepa feels like she falls for you all over again every time you smile.
"i love you too" Pepa said
