I don't look back.

I walk out of that house holding Tae's hand and once again feel the assurance that I made the best choice.
Choosing my real family.

Perhaps a small part of me does feel sad.
Sad but mostly disappointed at the people who were supposed to put my needs above all others.
I certainly I would for my kids.

And my brother?
Now that I have somewhat cooled and my world is restored, it leaves a bitter aftertaste in my mouth.
Do I really want to live with the knowledge I killed him?
Or perhaps never know if I did or didn't?

But to be honest, he is not really my priority.
My one and only thought is being with the guys again.
Assuring myself that they're okay.

Finally, I can breath.
Finally, I can be myself.

No more hiding.
No more lying or pretending I am someone I'm not.

Namjoon stays behind in the house for a while longer.
I don't want to know what he is doing there.
I don't care.
Whatever he has to say to Kwang-Sun is between them.

I no longer hold any connection to the man but loathing.

Tae doesn't let go of my hand once and even in the car he pulls me into his lap.
I don't mind.
Actually, I need this.
I need him.

So I press closer into him while Jin starts driving, Namjoon having joined us again too.
And then I sit there listening to their story.
To what they have been through the last three months.

Namjoon filled them in on my fathers blackmail.
And once again I'm in awe of him.
He got it dead on.

He had my father figured out all along.

How my father threatened me with their safety and I had no other choice but to do as he said.

And then: they played the role of their life-time too, making the whole world believe BTS is falling apart.

They acted it out so well, even someone as distrustful as my father believed them to be broken while they continued working in the back-ground, trying to bring him down- so I could come home.

Tears once again fill my eyes as I realize how far they are willing to go to get me back.
And stop my father of course, but mainly to make sure I can come home.

Home.

Yes.
That's what it feels like when we finally make it to the camp.
As I walk through the tunnel and the trailers, canopy and training areas surround by green comes into view.

It feels like coming home.

We head to the Black Swan right away, where Yoongi, with slightly shaking hands, inserts the memory stick and then-

We hoot.
We dance.
We hug one another.

It's all there.

Finally after all this time, we found it.

Discriminating evidence.
Evidence which will get my father into prison for sure.
No more hiding from the law.

Yoongi starts typing away at his computer for a few moments, then leans back and slowly turns to me.

"Are you sure, Lian?"

My gaze flickers to the screen.
To the email he has written and the attachment, the mouse hovering over the send button.

Namjoon comes to my side as well, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"You do know what will happen once we send this, right?"

I nod.
"My father will finally pay for what he has done."
