"You want to know what real fun is like, I know it.
You can pretend to be the good girl all you want, but deep down, there is a part of you that hates doing all those right, decent things.
You want to know what it's like to be bad!"

A short but sweet chapter to lighten our mood again :)

I've been awake for almost two hours, the sun shining through the window of the trailer. Hoseok stirs in his sleep next to me and blinks against the sun.
I watch as his eyes widen when he sees me in front of him, his mind working hard to try and piece together what happened. Then he looks over his trailer, still a mess from last night with most of his belongings trashed and thrown in every corner.
He looks back at me and his eyes dip down to the bandage on my arm. His face pales and his lower lip quivers. I know what he's gonna say the moment he opens his mouth, so I shush him with a finger.
"Don't. I don't ever want to hear you say sorry for something you have no control over."
I draw back my finger, his eyes huge as he stares at me like he doesn't understand me.
"You stayed," he finally breaths out, sounding confused.
"I told you I would."
"But I hurt you."
I shake my head.
"It's only a scratch. And if it leaves a scar, I will look even more badass!"
I had hoped to see him smile, but he still gazes at me apologetically.
"Stop it, Hoseok! I'm fine, really."
He doesn't look convinced.
"And the others?"
I sigh loud and heavy and see his body tense.
"Well," I start dramatically, then smile mischievously.
"I'm gonna make them treat me like a queen for an entire week! Seriously! Six men failed and a scrawny girl like me saved the day! How pathetic! By the way, you should really be ashamed of yourself. You did so well at the beginning. One against six and you were winning! And then all I did was hug you and you deflated like a balloon. Embarrassing, I have to say!"
Finally I see his lips lift. Not a full smile, but more like the Hoseok I know.
"You're unbelievable," he announces with a groan, rolling on his back.
He lay there for several seconds with his eyes closed. I almost believe he has fallen asleep again.
"Thank you, Lian."
His voice is barely more than a whisper. I turn to my side to look at him.
"I know. I'm awesome," I answer with full honesty.
Finally he chuckles and opens his eyes. The glimmer in them heals my heart even more.
"You really can't take this serious, can you?"
I groan, like he was being boring as hell.
"It was serious enough for a lifetime yesterday. Now, no more sulking and feeling guilty and all that shit. I'm starving and I think I need to find Tae. I know he's pretty chill when it comes to you guys, but sleeping in another guys bed, no matter who, might have put him on edge a little."
He smiles, a real one this time.
"Yeah, probably. Although you can tell him that he can have you."
I let out an high pitched shout at the insult.
"Wow! Now, what does that mean? You don't think I'm attractive?"
He chuckles and pinches my cheeks.
"Oh, I think we both know there is no denying your hotness, oh majesty! But sometimes you're just- too much. I'd rather have Tae deal with your nonsense!"
"What?"
He chuckles at my incredulous gasp.
"I've never met a more unreasonable, confusing, irrational and impulsive person in my life. You're mood swings are like that of a toddler. And those endless questions, how does Tae even stand it? And then there is your obsession with shocking everybody. Seriously, how does Tae-"
Enough is enough, so I shove him out of the bed with my foot. He lands on the floor with a crash, laughing and holding his stomach.
Two seconds later, six boys burst through the door, their expressions tense. Then they see a giggling Hoseok on the floor and their eyes land on me.
I pout and cross my arms on the bed.
"He said he doesn't want me!"
They all stare at me in confusion and shock. It sends Hoseok into another fit of laughter.
"See? That's what I mean! Tae, please take your girlfriend back. She is either gonna kill me by laughter, her constant nonsense or-" he shoots up as I stomp out of the bed, totally ready to smack his laughter off his face again.
How dare he calls me names after I spend the whole night worrying about him?
"Or by actually killing me!" he yelps out as he hides behind none other than Taehyung.
He looks as stunning as always, his hair still wet from what I suppose was a morning shower and wearing his usual baggy, comfortable black clothes.
His expression, like that of the others, has changed into one of amusement, which sends me fuming as I stand in front of him.
"Seriously? No one is taking my side? Okay, so maybe I have a lot of questions and maybe I like to keep it interesting, but I don't have mood swings. And I'm not confusing, or irrational or impulsive. And I'm very reasonable when I want to be!"
They all chuckle.
CHUCKLE?
"How dare you all! Is this what I get for all the hard work I have invested in you?"
"Tae," Hoseok whines from his hiding place behind him as the laughter of the others still ebbs through the room. "Deal with her or she might actually start throwing punches."
I open my mouth to shout at him again, when Taehyung smirks down at me, mischief glittering in his eyes and he speaks first.
"Oh, you mean because she's my girlfriend?"
My mouth snaps shut as I stare at him. That word echoes in my mind.
Girlfriend.
In all the time we spend together, I had not once wondered what he and I really were. I guess there had been so much drama and heartbreak and just general chaos, a normal word like girlfriend could never begin to describe the complicated relationship between us. And yet hearing it now makes my heart beat irregular as my mouth falls open in surprise.
Girlfriend...
He reaches out and lovingly strokes a strand of hair behind my ear, making my breath catch.
"And that," he says in a low voice, not breaking eye contact with me as he states. "Is how you shut her up when she's unreasonable."
