"I think we should discuss about how we're going to hack your father's phone later," Suga says after we sat down and RM and I started to debate the safest and easiest way to get to the one thing my father never lets out of his sight.

I've never wondered about it before, but now that they've made me aware of it, I realize just how suspicious his behaviour has always been.

He never leaves his phone lying around, never has to look for it because it's always by his side and not once have I seen him without it, no matter where we were.

We hadn't come far with figuring out the best time to take it, when Suga interrupted.

I look up from my place on the floor to the green haired boy in his massive chair.
He shoots me a worried look and the attention of the other boys immediately fall on him too.

"What is it Yoongi?"

My head snaps to J-Hope who had spoken and then back to Suga.

"Wait, Yoongi?" I ask confused, but Suga only gives me a little shrug with his shoulders.

"You thought Suga was my real name?"

"Yoongi," I whisper to myself and then smile as it rolls over my tongue.
"It's cute. Sounds just like a kitten."

He looks back at me with a horrid expression.

"I'm not a kitten."

I laugh out loud.

"Well, right now you look like one too."

Everyone else chuckles too and my spirit lifts.
It's like a little ray of sunshine breaking through the dark cloud that has settled over me ever since I found that folder with my father's file.

But it vanishes as soon as Suga- or Yoongi, opens his mouth.

"I think you should go home."

"What?", come several responses at once, me included.

There is a wistful expression plastered on Yoongi's face.

"You know we are not able to track your fathers phone yet, so instead I installed a tracker in his car."

"And?" I ask, not even surprised at the fact that there's a freaking tracker in our car, but not sure what he is trying to say either.

The other's look equally confused.

Yoongi sighs.

"And I've just checked where he has been today, and it's not work."

"Spit it out!" Taehyung interrupts impatiently.

"All right, Fuck. He's been to three different police stations.
And if I remember correctly, the last time you've spoken to your father was yesterday at around eight, so" he says, looking at his wrist watch.

"I guess you've got about four hours before he files a missing persons report."

"Shit!" I exclaim and jump up, seeing similar expressions on the seven boys.

I turn towards the white wall at the far left, already thinking while listening to the suggestions of the other's behind me.

"You could tell them you're battery was dead and overslept after a long night of talking?" J-Hope suggests.

"Or you can just say nothing and ignore them.
I guess they won't be happy, but at least the police won't be involved," Jimin offers.

"Or she doesn't have to do anything.
We can deal with everything later.
She just found out what her father did.
She should have some time to deal with it," Jin replies to Jimin.

Meanwhile, a plan forms in my head.

A plan so insane and stupid, it might just work.

I whirl around.

"I have an idea, but you're not going to like it."

Their heads all turn to me, and for a moment, I don't think I can tell them, it's that crazy.

"What is it?" RM asks, and I make a face but blurt it out anyway.

"My parents will never just accept a simply apology or a lame excuse.
And I most definitely wont have their trust after this.
Which is what we need if we want to get a chance to get to that phone, right?
So I need to make them believe I had some kind of accident.
Something big."

They tense and their eyes narrow.

"What kind of accident?" Taehyung asks with a dangerously low tone.

I close my eyes, knowing they'll freak.

"Look," I then start, trying to sound like I know exactly what I'm doing- which I am not.

"If they think I disobeyed them and let them worry this much, there will be serious consequences.
I'm talking house arrest and locking my door to make sure I stay inside.
If there is one thing they've been good at, it's punishing me for acting out.
It might be one of the reasons I haven't gone against them in so long.
It's not pleasant.
They wont let me out of their sight.
But- if they think I was hurt trying to do what they wanted me to- which was to come home last night, they wont be mad: they'll feel responsible.
They'll feel guilty."

And isn't that what the truth about my father makes me feel?
Guilty?

But I don't say that as I go on.

"So, lets say I had an accident trying to come home last night.
Suga, can't you create a fake hospital record?
Saying that I was robbed, unconscious and when I woke up, all I wanted was to be brought home immediately?"

Suga's mouth has dropped open, but he nods.

"And you want to make your parent believe the hospital just let you go like that?"

I frown for a moment, until brilliant idea surfaces.

"Then someone has to bring me home of course- lets say... a male nurse?"
I purr, looking directly a Taehyung with a raised eyebrow.
He lets out a loud, incredulous laugh.

"You want me to pose as a nurse?"

I smile wickedly.

"We can make you doctor too if you want?
And hey- you would have a chance to meet my lovely parents as the hero who saved me."

He shakes his head with a smile, probably laughing at my insanity.
And again it's RM who points out the obvious fault in my plan.

"But you are not hurt. How are you going to explain that?"

My expression turns hesitant.
This is the part they're not going to like.

"I'm not hurt....yet." I state in a small voice.

As expected, they all shoot me an appalled look.

"You want to hurt yourself just to get back in your parents favour?
Are you crazy?" Taehyung shoots out, his head red with anger and worry.

"Not any more crazy than you are," I state, earning me considering looks from the others, but still a heated one from Taehyung.

I let out a frustrated sigh.

"Listen, do you want to get that phone or not?
Because I do and I'm willing to do anything for it.
I need to know the truth, Taehyung!
I can't be at home and yell at my father, because I don't think I will be able to control myself when he lectures me and gets all heated up.
I can't promise that the truth of what I found out today wont be too much and I'll break and shout at him all the horrible things I want to say to the man who always pretended to be my freaking hero!
And then this whole thing is fucked!
So I need to do this.
And you need to let me.
This is my life, and I decide what to do with it!"

I hadn't meant for my voice to rise and my blood to heat, but by the end I'm breathing hard, trying to control the anger.

Anger at feeling this lost.

Taehyung has backed off, listening to me with ever growing eyes.
He looks pale and shaken, his hands formed to fists at each side.

"And how to you plan on 'getting hurt'?"
He asks, grinding the last words out like they are the most disgusting words that ever crossed his lips.

I take a step back.

Now this really is something I haven't thought about.

"Exactly!" he lets out with a cold laugh.

"You think any one of us would like to hurt you?
You want us to end up like Jungkook and hate ourselves for hurting a person we care about?"

Jungkook lets out a gasp and stumbles back like Taehyung's words physically slapped him.
Like waking up from a terrible dream, Taehyung turns to his brother, guilt written all over his face.

"Shit, I didn't mean that, JK. I just-"

"No, " Jungkook cuts him off, nodding but still pale and shaken.
"You only spoke the truth."

But it's Jimin who shoots forward, pushing Taehyung hard.

"Why would you say shit like that, Tae?"

Taehyung doesn't make any move to shield himself as Jimin pushes him again.

I can't stand seeing them fight.

I look around in desperation, until my eyes land on the little kitchen.
I don't think about what I'm about to do.
I meant what I said earlier.
To find out the truth, I'm willing to do anything.

I've already reached the little sink when I hear J-Hopes worried voice.

"Lian, what are you doing?"

I take one of the empty porcelain tea cups from the shelve, turning around to the others who all stare back at me, eyes wide.

"I'm not letting you fight over something like that.
And I'm not going to let any of you live with any regret.
This is on me."

Their eyes widen and Taehyung already takes a step to stop me, no doubt guessing what I have planned.

But he's too late as I take all my strength and smash the tea cup against my head.
