Oh to be the panera girl.

" hello can i take your order." I ask, i look up and a brown haired boy, with the clearest blue eyes is staring back at me.

" yeah, can i get a grilled cheese and a diet coke." He asks and i nod taking his order.

" anything else." I ask and he turns around to two other boys sat on the other side of the restaurant.

" another diet coke and then a iced black coffee." He says and i put it on the system. I smile and tell him that ill come back over to the table to give him food.

" thank you." He says and gives me the change. He smiles and walks back to his table where he smiles and laughs to his friends.

" okay, 2 diet cokes and a coffee." I say and set their food and drinks on the table. He smiles up at me and i smile back before heading back.

Its time for my break and i see the three boys stood near there car and i head to sit in my car for my break. I see the boys staring at me and whispering to themselves when they see me approaching.

" dude just man up and talk to her." The long haired one whispers and i smile to myself. I wouldn't mind it.

" alright, fuck off." He whispers and swats the other boy, the other two head to the car. He walks to me and im stopped by him stood next to me at my car.

" hi, im matt." He mutters and stands with his hands in his pockets.

" hello, whats up?, im y/n" i ask and he puts a faint smile on his face. He looks around him and i smile to ease his discomfort.

" yeah...i just wanted to...um...do you maybe want to hang out?" He asks and i start to laugh. He frowns and i immediately stop.

" yeah what the hell." I scream and i put my hand put for him to shake, he laughs but takes my hand.

" here put your number in my phone, and ill text you for when im finished my shift." I say and pull my phone out my pocket and put it in his hand. He smiles and puts his number in.

" ill text you, thank you." I say and head to my car. He smile and walks away. He cheers when he gets into the car and the other boys dab him up.

After i finish work i go straight to matts number and open up the messaging app. I decide to text 'hey i just got off work, want to meet up, lets get dinner.' I text and set my phone in my bag and wait nervously for a notification.

Almost later i get a text and its from matt, it reads.

'Yeah sure, where shall i meet you' he texts. I smile down at my phone and think to a response.

'Meet me at the denny's on 4th street' i text and he sends back a thumbs up. I start my car and head to Denny's.

"Hi, how are you?" He asks and i smile and nod my head.

" good, how about you." I ask and he says the same. He leads me to a table and we sit down and scan the menu. Im starving after the long shift i just did.

" so why did you ask me out." I ask and his cheeks flush red straight away. He looks down at his menu and i do the same.

" I've been to panera multiple times and i thought you were cool." He admits. I smile and look up at him. He eases up.

" i wouldn't have asked you out if my brothers didn't convince me." He says. I laugh and we order our food.

" really? Whats your brothers names." I ask, he smiles at the question and i like that.

" chris is the one with the longer hair and nick was the one with the glasses, were triplets." He explains. Somehow i only notice that there triplets now he's said that.

"I always thought that but never asked." I admit and he smiles. The waiter brings our food to the table and i thank him. We sit and eat our meal in confortable silence and commit to little bits of chats every now and them.

" ill pay." He says and i wave him off. He picks up the check wallet and puts it in his chest.

" please go half." I ask, he shakes his head and puts the money in the wallet. I put in a 10 for the tip and he tries to give it back.

" its tips, i hate when people dont tip enough, because i know." I explain and he puts the money back in.

After we send the bill back we head out to our cars and he hugs me and i hug him back. He smiles at me and i smile back.

" thank you for tonight, but next one is on me." I warn him and he nods and smiles. I get in my car and he waits for me to leave and waves me off.
