" nick im gonna kick your ass." I shout and he laughs after snatching the bag of chips out my hand. " this is my house." He says and i raise my eyebrow.
" everyone here loves me, now give me them back." I smile and he takes a handful and passes them back to me.
" Why are you here." Matt asks, rolling his eyes. " because nick invited me over." I say, matter of fact and he grabs a soda and walks off.
" come on lets watch that movie." Nick says and i follow him, we sit on his bed and he's trying to find his remote. " fuck, matt took it. Go get it please." He says and i shake my head.
" No, he hates me!" I exclaim and he rolls his eyes. " but i dont want to. PLEASE." Nick asks and i shrug my shoulders and walk again.
I walk upstairs and i hear music blaring through speakers in matts room. I knock but figured he dosent hear.
" Back so soon?" He asks, a cocky grin on his mouth. " not my choice." I say back and he turns the music down and i walk in and see the remote on the edge of his bed.
" can i have nick's remote." I ask and he shrugs his shoulders. " i dont know, can you." He asks and i sigh and reach for it.
" not so fast." He smiles and grabs my hand. " dont mess with me darling." He says and i stand back and he holds out the remote.

" thanks." I say and walk away. " dont miss me too much." He shouts and i cant help but smile. Me and nick watch the movie and i get up to go to the toilet.
" do you think your mom would mind if you stayed over." Nick asks when i get back and i shake my head. " probably not." I say and he smiles.
" ill call her." I say and i call my mom and she says i can stay over as long as Mary Lou dosent mind.
" she said its fine, as long as your mom dosent mind." I say and nick smiles.
" wanna go to the mall. Alana is free." Nick says and i nod. " can i wear wear some of your converse, i only brought crocs." I say and he laughs and nods.
The best thing about me and nicks being best-friends is we are the same size for all our clothes. Whenever i stay over i take his clothes and he can steal mine whenever he wants.
" cool, lets go." I say and drive us to the mall and we meet Alahna in urban outfitters.
" they would look amazing on you." Nick says and points to a pair of long denim shorts. " i love them." I say and pick them up.
" who wants food." Alahna asks and we all nod and head to the food court. I sit down and get a text, i expect it to be from my mom but its matt.
' where did you guys go?' It reads and i look at the text puzzled. 'out' i reply and put my phone away.
" whats up?" Nick asks but i shake my head, the last thing i need is him knowing matt is texting me, the first thing he promised me do when we became friends was promise to never get with one of his brothers. Ive never wanted to, until now.
When we get home its dinner time and everyone is already sat down. I sit on the end and he avoids eye contact. Weird?
" so nice to have you back sweetie. Do you want carrots or sweetcorn?" Marylou asks and i tell her sweetcorn.
" thanks for having me." I say and she smiles. We eat dinner and i mainly sit quiet and eat, while listening to their convo.
" y/n wanna play Mario kart after dinner, you could beat matts ass." Chris asks and i smile. " sure." I say and he laughs.
We play Mario kart and i beat matt 2/3 games and he beats me once. I head to the toilet and when i get back nick's gone.
" wheres nick?" I ask and they say he's gone to bed. I thought it was like 7pm but when i get my phone out its 1:23am and i look down shocked.
" i head to get some water before bed and see matt sat at the island sipping on some juice.
" nick would flip but im crazy about her." He whispers and i take a step back and listen for a minute. " alright later. Ill talk to her." He whispers and hangs up the phone.
"Hey." I say and he jumps. I grab a water bottle and head off to bed. " wait." Matt says and i look back.
" whats up." I ask and he smiles. " i um- listen.." he stutters and cringes at himself.
" i kind of like you." He whispers and my eyes widen. " what. I thought you hated me." I say and he laughs. " no." He replies and i nod.
" I've always wanted this." He says and grabs my face in his hands and gets so close i can feel his breath. " can i." He asks and i nod shy all of a sudden.
He kisses me and my stomach is going crazy. Whats will nick think? OH MY GOD NICK.
" stop, what about nick." I whisper and he sighs and lowers his head.
" please, just stay with me, im not ready to give you back." He says and lightly pulls my hand. " sure." I smile and think if nick dosent know for now it will be fine.
" ill talk to him tomorrow." I say and matt hums in response. We go to his room and he gets in bed. I lay next to him and he holds his hands on my waist. I smile into his chest and realise i never knew how much i wanted this.
" good night." He whispers and i nod and fall asleep in matts arms. AND HIS BED? What?
