The boy next door (4- final)

He leads me out of school and to his car, i buckle my seatbelt but the cars already moving. He drives and rubs circles on my hand. He sets the music going and i dance to the music, witch earns a laugh from him.

" where are we going?" I ask, he shakes his head and my stomach flutters with excitement. He smiles at me and i move excitedly in my seat.

" okay close you eyes. Please?" He asks and covers my eyes with his hand, i smell salt. Oh no. He couldn't have, no.

" ta da." He drums and waves his arms around as his car faces the beach front. I jump out and he walks beside me. I take my shoes and socks off and leave them in the car, thank god im wearing my cheer skirt.

" lets get in, aw im so exited. Thank you!" I shout and kiss him on the cheek, before pulling him into the water. Its cold at first but after a while my feet warm up.

" i love the beach." I say and jump onto matts back and he walks into the sea and drops me randomly, drenching my whole body.

" matt!" I shouts and attempt to tackle him by jumping on his back, tickling his arms. He dosent budge but throws me back in.

" im done, i hate the beach." I say and storm off to the shore, he try's to grab my hand but i storm to the peer.

" sorry y/n." He says and i soften up but still carry on walking until i find an ice cream stall.

" buy me ice cream and i will forgive you?" I ask and he shrugs his shoulders, ordering an ice pop for him and a chocolate cone for me.

" thank you, i love you." I say and wrap my fingers in his, interlocking our fists. We sit down and matt pulls out his phone and asks to take a photo of me.

" yes, get my good side." I say and pose in the sun, i smile and he takes what seems like a million photos. I look at them and they genuinely look good.

" send them to me." I ask and he nods, he scrolls to the photo he likes best and he sets it to his wallpaper.

" there, perfect." He whispers and kisses me in the sun. I smile and we head back to the car and just sit in silence for a bit, none of us moving.

" that was the best day ever." I say and he smiles, kissing me again. He pulls out the parking lot and drives off slowly.

" where are we going now." I ask.

" your house, unless you want to go to mine?" He asks, im not sure where i want to go?

" mine, yeah sounds good. I didn't tidy my room though." I laugh and he joins in. We drive listening to music and just enjoying each-others company.

" were here y/n." Matt whispers, i didn't  notice i'd drifted off. I get out and matt already has my schoolbag on his back and he hands me my phone and my keys.

" oh its unlocked." I say and walk in to see my mom and brother sat on the sofa, watching cartoons.

" hi, where have you been. Its 7:35." She asks running up to me to hug me. She hugs matt as well and my brother asks us in.

" we went to the beach after school." I reply and my brother gasps so hard i nearly flinch.

" you went to the beach im so jealous." He gasps and  me and matt sit on the opposite sofa.

" next time ill take you dont worry, soon." Matt says and my hear warms, he wants to spend time with my little brother, who can be a little much. But sill, oh my god!

" you will." He asks, his face lit up like a Christmas tree. Matt nods and he jumps up and runs to matt tackling him into a hug.

" im need to shower, and get the sand out me." I excuse myself and matt gets up and puts his shoes on and i kiss him good bye and just hug him to say thank you.

" i love you." He whispers, he looks a little shocked by what he said. The first i love you.

" i love you too!" I whisper back and smother his hair with kisses. I wave as his walks to his car and he waves while he pulls out the driveway. Then i go to take my shower.

He said the first i love you! Oh my god i know its been what? 1 month but i really do love this boy, i really love him.
