Sickie/Little: Seungmin

For the past week, Seungmin had been nursing a constant headache. It wasn't bad enough to take a day off of work but it certainly was a nuisance and the vocalist was pretty certain that he was coming down with something. The headache could also have come from him not slipping into his headspace for a while but with how rundown and achy he felt, he doubted it. Luckily, the group would have a day off soon, which should give him the opportunity to rest and catch up on sleep. He might even be able to slip, so if that was what caused his headache, he'd be fine afterwards. Seungmin knew his friends would take care of him if he slipped but he wanted to talk to them about it first. He didn't want to hold anyone back if they already had other plans for their day off. Learning that only 3racha had planned to work on music and the rest of their group would be free, the vocalist hinted that he'd really enjoy playing with his caregivers. The only two members, who actually noticed what Seungmin was implying were Felix and Jeongin, who gave him a smile and nodded, a silent promise that they'd be there for him.

As the day got closer though, Seungmin was feeling worse. He knew he only had one more day filled with schedule to power through before he'd get a break, so he didn't let his discomfort stop him. The vocalist pushed through the headache and exhaustion, the waves of nausea and frequent dizzy spells and the burning ache in his muscles, heaving a sigh of relief when he dropped onto his bed late at night. Hugging his stuffed puppy to his chest, Seungmin allowed himself to slip right then and there and fell asleep suckling on his thumb. Sadly, he didn't stay asleep for long, waking up drenched in sweat only a few hours later. It was still dark outside but there was no way he could go back to sleep while his clothes clung to his skin. The little gave a discontent whine, tugging on them before realizing that he'd have to get changed, which seemed like way too difficult for someone as little as him. Sniffling softly, Seungmin tried to stand up but his legs wobbled and his head spun, causing the boy to drop to the floor, where he sat confused and disoriented for a few minutes before remembering what he had intended to do.

Fighting his achy muscles, Seungmin crawled to his closet and tried to pull himself up but failed to stand. Unable to even reach his clothes, the little broke into tears. His sobs caused his head to hurt even worse and he weakly laid down on the floor of his room. Unsure whether he had actually heard it, Seungmin sat back up and listened. There were hushed voices somewhere in their dorm and craving the comfort of his caregivers, the little crawled to his bedroom door. Pulling himself up to open it was a struggle and he tiredly rested his back against the door frame once he had succeeded. There was definitely someone awake because he saw light coming from their living room but he was too exhausted to go and check which of his caregivers were. The vocalist just sleepily cried out, hoping they would come to get him.

The first one rushing towards him was Jeongin, the maknae having abandoned his shirt and only wore shorts, looking a little flushed, his sweaty hair sticking to his forehead. "Hi there, puppy", Jeongin cooed, crouching in front of his friend, "You too hot to sleep too?" Seungmin nodded, giving the other a big pout as he made grabby hands at him. With some struggle, Jeongin picked the little up and carried him to the living room, past the pair of feet sticking out of the bathroom. Felix had spread out like a starfish on the bathroom tiles, insisting the tiles still felt somewhat cool against his bare back though Jeongin doubted it with how long the Aussie had lain there. Minho quickly got off the couch when Jeongin approached and the maknae carefully laid the boy down. Seungmin whined when his sticky shirt moved against his skin and Minho helped him take it off before directing the mini-fan, he had been holding onto, towards the little's flushed face. The vocalist closed his eyes and relaxed a bit when Minho brushed his sweaty bangs away from his forehead. With how overheated he himself was, the older failed to notice Seungmin's raging fever but kept the fan blowing cool air on the boy anyway.
