28 - Helpless & Clueless

THE NEXT DAY after the two kings announced Jungkook and Yoongi's upcoming wedding, the two decided to meet up so they both can go to the fruit fields to visit Taehyung, thinking they can have some sort of an idea where the Jung family settled.

The two royalty strided through the long pathway leading to the huge fruit fields, while Yoongi talked to Jungkook about him and Hoseok's misunderstanding before they separated.

They finally reached the field and they walked towards the hut where Taehyung always have his lunch, as Jungkook said.

As expected, they saw the farmer there sitting, who seems to have just finished his meal, "Hey." Jungkook smiled.

Seeing his crush, Taehyung felt excited so he went and hugged him, causing both of them to giggle.

Yoongi couldn't help but smile while watching the young lovers, causing him to miss his own boyfriend.

The farmer then noticed the presence of the other royalty so he gave a funny look in realization, "Pardon me for being rude, your highness." Taehyung cleared his throat after pulling away from the hug and kneeled down, showing proper greetings for both of the royalties, "What brings you here?"

"I-I wanted to know where the Jung family is settling." Yoongi said.

Taehyung nodded after he remembered the two had a fight the last time they saw eachother. But, the thing is, Taehyung also doesn't have any idea where they went.

"Later that night when the both of you had a fight I wanted to take him at the computer cafe at the Plaza, to take his mind off of the things that's been bothering him.." Taehyung said, voice trailing at the end as he tries remembering what happened.

"He told me he needed to go home first to let his mother know he's going out so I waited for him at our secret passage but he never came back. I had no choice but to just go home and there saw their house burning and there was no traces of them."

Taehyung's statement only fed Yoongi's worries, but nonetheless, it's still meaningful to him to know what his lover was doing before they disappeared from the palace.

"Do you think we should go to their house? Maybe search for clues where they might've went?" Jungkook suggested.

Both Taehyung and Yoongi doubts they will find something there, Taehyung also mentioned that the house was barely recognizable and burnt to ashes. But the three still decided to go, just in case.

"Here we are." Taehyung said, pointing to the Jung family's house that was burnt into ashes, the crops planted around the house was also cover in ashes.

As the three was walking towards the burnt house to take a closer look, they heard sniffles and whispers. The agonized voice sounded like the person was in pain.

"So impossible." They heard the whispers say, almost inaudible.

The three looked at eachother, as if having a conversation with their eyes, asking if they're hearing what the other's hearing.

They looked around and the person crying was someone they least expected to be there.

"Hyung?" Yoongi was the first one to talk and the first one to see the crying man.

It was his brother, it was Min Agust.

The older prince was kneeling in front of the fence, face buried in his palms as he cried and cried, continuing to whisper to himself.

"What are you doing here?" Yoongi spoke again.

Agust wasn't startled by their presence but it made him stop sobbing when he heard. The said male looked up and his eyes was bloodshot red and puffy, the tears spread across his face looking as if he just washed his face.

Despite of the words Agust heard from his little brother, he chose not to answer any of it. Instead, he chose to start walking away, but was stopped. Of course.

"Wait, can you please answer us?" Yoongi queried in an attempt to prevent his brother from walking away.

Agust remained still after he heard Yoongi speak again and turned around, "This is just so impossible, Yoongi." He answered, turning around, hands emphasizing the burnt down house among them.

"How come?"

"I know father, whenever a worker have problems he fixes it just for them just so they'll never leave their work, but this time, he suddenly let them go away." Agust said.

"S-So you're telling me our father has something to do with this?" He asked, all confused.

Agust nodded and turned around again, in an attempt to walk away. Yoongi thought he made sense. Yes, what his brother said really does makes sense.

But, why would he care?

Why would he care to the extent he'll cry over a burnt down house of workers?

"Me and Dawon, Hoseok's sister have been in a relationship for three years and she left without a goodbye. I care for her.. Them, so much this is hurting me. But it's not just about that, you'll know about it soon."

Min Agust said before walking off, answering Yoongi's questions that's been running laps in his head, as if he's hearing them.
