if there's one thing you have to name that you hate the most
it would definitely be ha sungwoon
right from the first day that you met him, he is already an ass
it all happened when you moved house
and since it's like a tradition to greet your neighbors with rice cakes (in korea)
you went to greet your neighbors
as you're waiting for them to open up
you're shaking while you hold a plate of rice cakes in your hands
because you're just that nervous
you just hope that they are niceand when sungwoon opened the door, your gulped nervously
you thought your luck changed for the better
you never expected a handsome guy to stay beside you
but all your hopes crashed the moment he started talking
"so you're my new neighbor? do me a favor, please don't be an annoying neighbor"
without giving you the chance to reply, he slammed the door in your face
leaving you confused and irritated
it's been less than 48 hours since you moved in and sungwoon already concluded you as an annoying neighbour
that is when your impression of him completely changed
you haven't done any shit in your apartment and he called you annoying?

you thought you can just forget about that one incident but guess what
for the subsequent days or months staying in that apartment made you realized who's the real annoying neighbor here

almost every night, sungwoon would invite his friends over and party all night
and when you say party all night
it means partying till 4am with loud music
what's worse is that you're a light sleeper
the moment you hear the music going on, is the moment you will wake up
and you would be daydreaming until you fall asleep once again
that's not the main issue here
the main issue here is that you always have classes the next day
and because of sungwoon, you started sleeping in classes more and more often
if not, you would just be dazing off in blank space
without you noticing, that has been affecting your grades
you used to be one of the better students
but because of the lack of sleep you have been getting, your grades is gradually dropping
you always wanted to keep your grades up because you wanted to go to a university
but looking at how your grades are affected, you're getting worried
that's when you got reminded of sungwoon again
you're definitely gonna to tell him off when he starts partying again
as expected, at the strike of 12am
music started blasting
you got out of bed angrily and started banging on his door
"what do you want?" sungwoon shouted
"could you please stop partying? it's too noisy!" you yelled back
"obviously i'm not going to do that!" he laughed
"at least turn down the volume!"
"okay fine fine!" you sighed as sungwoon close the door in front of your face again
for the next 1 hour, the music did go softer
but it went back to the usual afterwards
anyways
after that day, you went to his house over a few times
and besides telling sungwoon, you told his friends which happened to be your classmate, seongwoo
"seongwoo please, please stop partying" you plead
"hehehe okay y/n" seongwoo replied even though you can tell he is half drunk
you plead them to stop but none of them listened to you
you being the nice neighbor tried to hold it all in
until one day
you're having an exam the day after and you're here trying to revise
but with all the noise that's going on
you just can't take this anymore
that night where they started partying
you rushed into sungwoon's house this time round and switched off all music
not only that, you unplugged all of the plugs and told everyone to get out
"what are you doing- GET THE FUCK OUT"
sungwoon and seongwoo clearly got a shocked from you because you have never been this angry before
they have indeed reached your limit"this is my house y/n! you should get out!" sungwoon yelled
"AND SO? you have been pissing me off even though i TOLD YOU A THOUSAND TIMES to fucking stop partying"
the both of them immediately went speechless
"i think i have been patient enough, ha sungwoon. enough is enough" you throw the plug at him and left
without thinking much, you just head back home and head to bed
finally, a night where you could sleep in peace
and after the night where you told sungwoon off, everything changed
there's no more partying going on at night
even at school, when you see seongwoo, he gives you an apologetic look
during break time, he approached you and even apologized
"hey y/n... i'm sorry if sungwoon and i pissed you off" he said as he scratches his nape
"it's fine... just don't do it again" you gave him a slight smile
you thought seongwoo is apologizing on behalf of sungwoon but nah
"why would sungwoon even apologize?" you laughed to yourself
but when you are at your door, you saw a bag hanging at your door
out of curiously, you read the note first
"i'm sorry for annoying you. i heard from seongwoo that you're one of the most patient girls he has ever seen and i have pissed you off... so here's a little treat from me, hoping that you won't be angry anymore."
you can't help but to laugh
you can't believe sungwoon is actually apologizing
although you didn't see him that day, but you still ate the food that he gave
and so coincidentally, it is your favorite meal
being someone that would forgive easily, you have actually forgiven sungwoon
however, sungwoon thinks that you're still angry at him
which explains why there is a bag hanging at your door even until today
every day, there is a different kind of message and meal in that bag
honestly, your impression of sungwoon changed again
instead of that annoying neighbor, you thought he is pretty sweet
from a guy's perspective, it takes a lot of effort for them to write a message and buy you food every day
and because this is your first time receiving gifts from a guy
you find your feelings swaying already
this basically went on for days
until one day you caught sungwoon
he was at your door hanging that bag and you just got home
when he saw you standing behind
he literally jumped and blushed
"thank you for doing this every day" you started off
"y-you're not angry anymore?" sungwoon stuttered
"of course not, silly! i have forgiven you long ago" you laughed sungwoon caught you off guard and hug you out of excitement "seongwoo is right... you're one of a kind, someone that is so patient" sungwoon pointed out
"since you're not angry anymore... shall we hang out some time together?"
"hmmm i'll think about it" you decided to tease sungwoon
"i will take that answer as a yes and you're not running away from me since you're my neighbor!" the both of you ended up laughing
who knows your annoying neighbor could also be someone that is so sweet?
