 the regret of meeting jisung is still lingering around
 the moment you knew that his interest and yours differ, you sighed 
 there is no way you guys are gonna last, no matter how much you guys truly love one another
 jisung wanted to be an idol while you wanted to be someone normal
 dreams sound so far apart but both of your hearts are still close
 you know that your feelings for each other is genuine
 but sadly, reality has to break you apart
 when jisung told you he is sure of pursuing this road, you could only wish him all the best
 jisung once told you that it is a requirement for him to break any relationship once he becomes a trainee
 and after that break up, it seems like he disappeared
 you have never seen him around anymore
 he doesn't seemed to be updating his social media and texting him doesn't seem like a wise choice
 so you just let it go

 even if it's your first true love, reality forced you to move on

 you gradually forgot about jisung and avoid anything that would remind him

 months after that break up, he soon went onto produce 101, a survival show to debut a boy band
 everywhere you go, you see yoon jisung
 it feels like you're in labyrinth, never getting out of his sight even on youtube, you could see his audition cut  and for the next few months, you have to live in pain
 everyone around you is just talking about produce 101
 all you know is that he is doing well and you're sure he is achieving his dream
 when you found out he got into the top 11 and gonna be part of wanna one
 your heart still skips a beat when you know you shouldn't
 it feels good to know he is coping well but how about you?
 still struggling between wanting to support him reaching his dream and wanting to put aside all your feelings for him
 "are you sure you don't want to watch their debut showcase?" your sister asked
 "yeah, i guess. I have to go for work now"
 why would you want to see jisung when you're trying so hard to forget someone who once mean the world to you?  work is one of the ways to forget jisung
 you worked from early morning to late at night just to keep yourself busy from all those painful thoughts
 that being said so, you still find yourself drifting off
 "you shouldn't stay this long, y/n! see you tomorrow" your colleagues bid goodbye one by one
 leaving you one of the last few to pack up
 when you have decided to pack up and go home, it's already past midnight
 you knew today is jisung's debut date and out of all days, you just wanted to get drunk today
 so you did, you went to a restaurant nearby and get yourself drunk
 the restaurant had only a few customers which is good
but as soon as you settled down and ordered your drinks
you noticed a group of guys came in
although you couldn't recognize any of them, but you could surely recognize your past love, jisung
you guys clearly had an eye contact until his friends, you assumed his bandmates pulled him away
when the drinks arrived, you started getting yourself drunk
you just kept drinking and drinking bottles after bottles
honestly you just don't know what's bothering you deep down
you completely lost yourself but you still wanna drink some more
until a hand grabs onto your wrist when you're about to refill your drink
"that's enough of drinking, y/n." you heard jisung said
you flick his wrist off and continue pouring your drink
you didn't know what has gotten into you but you have never done that to anyone especially jisung before
"i'll send you home"
"just leave me alone and go achieve that dream of yours" you said while you down another shot
the next moment, you felt a pair of arms around your shoulder
you know jisung's personality, he's still gonna do what he wants
"let go of me" you furiously shake his arms off you
you proceed to slap jisung, "you know how much i have been trying to forget you and now you're here, thinking like it's nothing"
"i'm here also trying to forget us but i can't, i still love you y/n" jisung explained
"i miss you like crazy, y/n. even after achieving my dreams, something is still missing and that's you. i still need you in my life" jisung slowly approached you and bring you into his embrace
oh god
you would be god damn lying if you say you don't miss that
you guys share hugs the most in the past
it's like your weakness as much as you wanted to stay like this and be in his warm embrace
you had to break it for your own good for jisung's own good
"no jisung, we can't be together anymore"
you eventually find your hands on his chest to push him away
when you take a good look at him, you realized he is already tearing
no you can't go soft on jisung now
out of all the parts of your relationship, this got to be the hardest part
walking away when jisung clearly needs you
you took a deep breath and turn away
you eventually broke down
this hurts so bad and you wondered if you really got to do this for his own good
just then you felt another pair of arms over your shoulders
"why is this pretty lady over here crying? just got dumped?" a deep voice asked you
that's not jisung
as you get drown in your tears and your thoughts, you have no idea where you're heading
you're just following where your legs take you to
you just realized you got lost and this guy is trying to take advantage of you
"shall i make you happier?" his breath reeks of alcohol
even though you're drunk, but you can tell he is way much worse
you tried struggling out of his grip but he is obviously too strong for you
you took the chance to bang him into the wall and run
you have no idea where you're heading, you're just looking back to see if he's catching up
even though he is far away, you fell unexpectedly
you tried to get up but your knee isn't helping
he eventually caught up and you thought that's it
you ended up having more tears rolling down your face and silently wish someone can get you out of this
from the look of his, you know you're dead but before he could do anythingyou see him lying on the floor the next moment
"don't you try and dare to touch her!" jisung shouted
he continuously beat that person up until he decided to run away
in the midst of all that, you're just staring blankly at jisung
he's still the same, sacrificing himself for you
and jisung would never get this angry at someone before "y/n! are you okay? did he touch you? are you hurt anywhere-" before he could carry on with the list of questions
you found yourself back in his arms
you just couldn't resist it anymore
his arms still feel the same, making you safe as always
"i miss you, jisung. i tried but i can't deny anymore" you said while you snuggle into his chest
"you really do mean the world to me and i absolutely can't live without you anymore"
when you guys break the hug, he helped you up and walked you home
this time round, with jisung hand's in yours
"don't worry, i will find a way for us to be together"
you heard him say as he held your hands closer
"i'm not going to let you slip away ever again"
