when you're back in middle school, you stood out among the other students
not in a good way obviously
they treated you as if you're from another planet
it all started because of a stupid mistake
you trusted one of your friends and told her that you have a special ability to predict the futureshe didn't trust you and instead, laughed at you for being so stupid
and because of the fact she's your best friend, you wanted her to believe you
you showed off your ability and you thought she would trust you
in the end, she started avoiding you and even spread the secret to everyone one else in the school
you told her this because you thought she should know this but oh wells
promise is meant to be broken
and from then on, you are always alone
you wondered why you have such condition
and they said that it's extremely rare
when you predicted the future, it definitely feels good
because you got to know any kind of stuff earlier than anyone
but good stuff comes with a price to pay
every time you use your power, your energy level decreases
you didn't know this side effect until a tattoo of numbers appeared on your wrist
so you basically suffered your middle school and thankfully, when you entered high school
you left your past there and no one knew anything
although you got the chance to start your life anew, but you already lost your trust in everyone
you decided to only treat your friends as classmates

you tried your best to keep your eyes open but you eventually fall asleep

you lowkey didn't wanna drink cause it's from jihoon but since you're so hungry, you eventually drank it and went to find him to thank him
and after that incident, you guys got closer day by day
you started waiting for him in the morning to come school together
because of that, you unconsciously used your ability to protect jihoon
there are just so many times that he is so careless that you became the person that got his injuries
just like this morning, you knew that he is gonna trip over the drain because it's raining and everywhere is so slippery
so you made him walk the other route to school instead

your memory told you that if you don't save him, it would land him into a coma and he isn't waking up anymore
you grab your phone and ran

you called and called but he's not answering
since it's night time, you know he would be heading to maroo at this moment so you went there immediately
and thankfully, you spotted him there
he is ready to cross that road
"JIHOON NO" you called and pulled him in as hard as you could
you landed on your back but that doesn't mean anything as long as jihoon is safe
"what just happened? who are- y/n? omg" when you guys realized that your faces are just meters apart, he immediately got up
"are you okay?" jihoon asked you
"i'm fine as long as you're safe" you blurted out without thinking much

"you almost got hit by the car when you're about to cross"

"i-i got to go" you don't know why but your eyes started becoming blur, filling up with tears

"yes jihoon, i know you would think that i'm just like a freak and besides, i would affect your popularity if i continued sticking with you"

before you know it, you felt jihoon's lips on yours and at that moment, you just realized how much you miss jihoon
