you have no idea since when but you started believing that life is all about taking risks
when it comes to making a decision, you would usually go against what everyone would choose to do
although it's risky, but you thought you shouldn't have regrets in life
and one of the risky decisions you made in life is to date ong seongwoo
the school's bad boy
when everyone found out you're dating seongwoo
everyone's reaction is what you have expected, shocked
"are you sure you want to date seongwoo? you know his background"
that's because you're a nice girl and you don't look like someone that like mixing around with bad company
but guess what
your ideal type of guy is bad boys
they are the kind of guys that will drive you crazy
especially when they look at you
it sends signals to your heart every single time without fail
and that's why you decided to date seongwoo
and even after months being together, you are still persistent in believing that he would be different
seongwoo does shower you with love
and you guys spend a lot of time together
however, as time pass, he started introducing stuff that you don't do at all
example, drinking

because when the next morning arrives, seongwoo completely forgets everything
and you're kinda scared to bring it up especially when he is having his hangover

"seongwoo!" you nervously waited for him outside of class and called him

you thought after today, things between you and seongwoo will definitely change for the better
but all of your hopes turned into disappointment
it has been hours since you waited for seongwoo and no signs of him appearing
you keep checking on your phone, contemplating if you should call him
at the same time, you're afraid to do so because you don't want to face the truth that he might be at the club again
so you sighed and throw your phone aside, thinking it's better to just wait
just then, you heard the door opening
all of your worries about seongwoo immediately got erased
but the moment you see him, you can't help but to feel someone is pinching your heart
he's drunk again
but this time round, with a girl around his arm
"seongwoo?" you greeted him
you stared at the both of them, speechless
is seongwoo cheating on you?
"see you next time" that girl is dressed way too sloppy and tried to even kiss seongwoo goodbye
"y/n? oh heyyyy" you sighed as you hear seongwoo greeted you
he never notice you there in the first place
if the girl never leaves, what is he going to do?
before letting your thoughts going wild, you stop him
"seongwoo, can we talk?" you placed your hands on his chest
but it is soon taken down
"let's wait till tomorrow, babe. i'm tired" seongwoo failed to walk past you when you tighten your grip on his hands
"no, you agreed to talk tonight"
"oh god, y/n! can you not be such a pain and let me go?" seongwoo grumbled
seongwoo furiously shake your hands off his and went to lie on the sofa
"what's happening to us?" you asked
"what do you mean by that, nothing is happening!"
"really, seongwoo? you mean getting drunk all night and finding girls beside you is alright?"
"you can't possibly ask me to stick by you 24 hours when you're so damn boring?"
"so you find me boring huh" you challenged seongwoo
"yes, y/n. you're so so so boring that girls at the club are 100% better than you!" he shouted
those words shattered every hope and dream you have with seongwoo
you should have known better, he's been finding you boring
no words left your mouth but only tears falling
"fine, i'm done with you seongwoo. we're over" you ran out of his house instantly
but you know it's a lie when you say you're done with him
you carried on crying for hours throughout the night
and memories of you guys going date just have to appear in your mind
"you're such a fool for thinking that he likes you as much as you do" you mentally scolded yourself
you know seongwoo too well that it's almost impossible for him to change
it would be miracles if he comes back saying sorry
"why would seongwoo still want me when he said i'm boring?" you thoughtthat's when you made up your mind to move on and forget everything
and for the next few days
you're just clearing every evidence of your relationship
all the photos on your wall and table goes into the box
when you take off the necklace that seongwoo gave on your birthday, you know you're going to be over him
you have also packed all the gifts he gave to you into a box and you're going to throw it all back to him
you thought that the faster you clear out stuff that are related to seongwoo, the better it is for you
since it's only 9 pm, seongwoo would definitely not be there at this timing
so you decided to drive to his place now and put that box there
memories hit you hard when you're approaching his door
thankfully, seongwoo has given you a key to his house previously but this would be the last time you're using it anyway
when you entered the house, it is dark, as expected
but as you on the lights, you're surprised at the condition of seongwoo's place
full of trash
his clothes are everywhere
empty beer cans lying here and there
and as planned, you place the box down and got ready to head home
but just before you leave, seongwoo's voice stopped you

you're just torn between wanting to turn around and look at him or just continue leaving
"i'm sorry" seongwoo cried
you told yourself to move on and that is exactly what you're going to do, getting out of this house now
"no no no, please don't go" seongwoo wrap his arms tightly around your waist and rest his face on your shoulder
"i'm sorry for being such a jerk, y/n"
"i'm sorry for taking you for granted when you're the best girlfriend i could ever ask for"
"i'm sorry for comparing you to other girls when i know you're one in a million, that i could never find someone like you ever again"
as you hear him apologize, you could also gradually feel your shoulder is getting wet
is seongwoo crying?
"i realized how much you mean to me when i chased you away. i lived every day in guilt after remembering what i told you"
"i'm really sorry, y/n" for the first time, you're hearing seongwoo weeping
and when you finally take a good look at seongwoo, you realized he's really sorry
you could see tiredness all over his face
and when his tears just keep flowing down, your heart started to ache

you have no idea why you're contemplating about this
if you're still the same person in the past, you would immediately say yes
but why are even thinking about it now?
"i don't know about this, seongwoo" you slip your hands out of his

maybe you have taken too much risk that you could no longer differentiate what's good and bad
but what you're sure of is that ong seongwoo is a bad risk to take in the first place
