you waved goodbye to your friend, woojin after he sent you home
"see you tomorrow!" you smiled and entered your house
it has become a usual routine for woojin or the other guys from your close group of friends to send you home
apparently, they call themselves wanna one
because that is the name they used whenever they game together
sounds funny but they are actually a popular group in the gaming world
anyways
they started sending you home ever since you told them you saw someone that doesn't really resemble like a human
while you were taking out the trash one night, you felt someone was around you
making the atmosphere so cold all of a sudden
and the leaves were rustling although there was no wind
that alone creep the hell out of you and you couldn't help but tell the guys the next day
although that happened like months ago and you told them thousands of times that you can go home on your own
but they will always insist to see you entering your house
so you gave up telling them
and yes, you have been asking for the reason why but they always seemed to be avoiding your question

it's not like it's a bad thing to have a company while going home
so that is what happens usually
you guys attended school together and going home together
and today is just like another day
but as you're heading to school today, you heard a lot of people saying that there's this transferred student

that kind of excites you because this means you get to make a new friend again
and when you found out that he is transferring to your class, oh boy
that made your morning already
while you got lost in your train of thoughts, you didn't notice where you're heading and actually got knocked down

the whole atmosphere is just awkward
they are all busy exchanging glances and they seemed like they wanna eat sejun alive
woojin slams the hands on the table and poke his food a little harder than usual
looking at how tense the situation is, sejun took the initiative to leave
"i guess i'll see you around, y/n" and even at the last moment, wanna one is still staring at him

"i think you guys are just jealous, it's just the first day! he's a nice guy i swear" you laughed but the guys still remained serious

"sorry for all those phone calls- sejun?" when you looked up, sejun is gone
and when you turn around, sejun knocked you out with a glass bottle
before you know it, all you could see is a sky full of darkness
"what did y/n say" jisung asked
"she said she's going home now but I still got a bad feeling about this" woojin sighed
"i think sejun found out that y/n is the special one" guanlin added
"QUICK WOOJIN, find y/n's gps!" without hesitation, their gut feeling is completely true
sejun kidnapped you to his house
the only reason why he did that is because sejun is indeed a vampire
and he found that your blood is capable of turning into a vampire
when he knocked into you, he smelled your blood which explains his blue eyes
and he wants to mark you tonight
when you arrived at his house, he prepared the serum that contains poison to contaminate your blood while you're unconscious
and as if it's on cue, you happened to wake up in time
"where am-what are you doing, sejun?" you shake in fear
"relax, it will only hurt a bit" you accidentally hit sejun in the face and took the chance to run away
that made sejun angry and before you know it, he started changing
his eyes turned red and his strength started becoming stronger
in this small house, it is impossible to run away
and when he finally caught you, you know it's gonna be over
he's gonna inject that poison
before he could do so, someone pulled him away

while looking at the both of them fight, you never realized that woojin also transformed
he has gotten a lot bigger in size
"don't you try and dare to turn one of us into your kind. y/n deserves to be our kind" woojin scolded sejun, who looks half dead by now
with that, woojin brought you home
and throughout the journey home, you're still shaking in fear
when you saw the rest of wanna one, they got real worried sick
"you okay, y/n?" woojin wrapped his shoulder around you
how can you be okay when everything just happened so fast?
"right from the start, when we first saw sejun, we knew he is a vampire that aims to kill which is why we wanted you to stay away from him" woojin explained
"he is probably the guy you saw when you threw out the trash because we heard a vampire is on the loose"
"how do you guys even know?" you looked at woojin and the rest
"just tell her the truth, woojin" jisung sighed
"because we are all vampires too... and I'm the strongest out of all" you almost collapsed when you heard that
you have been friends with vampires all this while
"but we are vampires that aim to keep people's life safe, so don't worry" jisung gave you a reassuring smile
"you should go and have some rest, y/n" woojin brought you to your room
now you could finally understand everything
"is that why you insisted bringing me home every day?"
"is that why you got so worked up when i started hanging with him"
woojin could only give you a nod and that is all it takes for you to break down

he broke the hug and wrap his hands around your waist
"as long as you're safe now, nothing else matters. as long as you're back in my arms, y/n" he hugged you once more
and this hug made your feelings swayed
they always say love between a human and a vampire is impossible
but you think likewise, your love for woojin will definitely work out
