both you and minhyun are in a relationship for years
even when years have passed, the memory of you meeting him is still fresh in your mind
you guys met at a conference
not exactly in a good manner
because minhyun accidentally spilled his coffee onto your dress
you thought he would just apologize and leave
but turns out, he is living up his gentleman title
he offered to give you his coat
and when you wanted to return him the coat, he even bought you a new dress as a gift
that is when things got ignited
you find your feelings growing and growing each time you know you're meeting with minhyun

and when he finally appeared, you saw him smiling to himself as if something good just happened

"y/n! why are you here so early?" minhyun got a shock when he sees you
"i texted you that i'll be here..." you explained
"ah... maybe it slipped out of my mind"
after knowing minhyun for years, you know he is usually not like this
and he hardly forgets about things when it comes to you
maybe you're just being overly sensitive
and true enough, when you asked minhyun if there's anything wrong

that's when you convinced yourself that it is just you being too uptight
but when the next morning arrives, you're not too sure if you're being overly sensitive again
a feeling of emptiness hits you when you found an empty space beside you

when you got out of the room, minhyun is already getting ready to leave
"i-i have to go to work first, y/n" he slipped on his shoes and got out within a second
without even having the chance to ask why, minhyun is already out of the house
a sigh unconsciously left your lips
you told yourself to stop having wild thoughts and get ready for work
you dread yourself to work after having a morning that is so confusing
your brows are probably frowning most of the time
you just don't get it
if minhyun has to go for work early, he would at least tell you last night right?

as usual, for lunch, you would head to minhyun's office to give him his lunch
you decided to put everything aside and head to his office in a good mood
you pray that this lunch would hopefully change what happened in the morning
but when you reached the entrance of the office
a familiar figure caught your eye
you saw minhyun walking out
just when you're about to call his name, words can't seem to leave your lips anymore

out of shock, you dropped your lunch

from far, you watched the both of them walking away
smiling as if they are the happiest people on earth

"i guess minhyun is really choosing her after all..." you muttered
you soon got home and as expected, minhyun is still not home
now that he has someone new, he would definitely be out there partying
with that, you decided to head to bed early
and get over this overwhelming day
but who are you kidding?

just then, you heard the door opening
"y/n? oh you're already asleep..." minhyun whispered and slowly made his way out
honestly, you have no idea how is your relationship is gonna turn out for the remaining days

when he saw you, he presented you with a bouquet of roses
