· you and lee daehwi have a couple of classes together
· you've heard a lot about him! he's apparently really good at like everything
· he's good in herbology, good in dada, good in care of magical creatures, good in potions
· and somehow he still maintains the reputation of being cool and chill? aka not a nerd
· as a ravenclaw, you're definitely a nerd
· whenever you go to hogsmeade you always stop by tomes and scrolls to see what new books they have
· the shop owners know you by face and name by know
· and one day you're reading one of their new books about aquatic creatures when someone's like
· "ah, excuse me, are you going to buy that?"
· and you look up and lee daehwi is standing there a bit sheepishly
· "ah, no, i was just reading, here"
· and you try to hand it to him but hes like oh no please finish it i'm sorry!!
· and he starts a conversation about the topic with you
· and pretty soon you two are talking about sea creatures versus lake creatures
· and before you know it, it's time to go back to hogwarts
· and you guys get there right as the last carriages are leaving, so you end up in the same carriage as him and you continue on with your conversation
· soon it becomes a regular thing– the two of you see each other a lot at tomes and scrolls and chat about the latest book selections for a bit before returning to your friends
· one weekend he doesn't show up
· and you get worried so you timidly approach park woojin, another ravenclaw who's close with daehwi and ask him if everything's okay
· and he explains that daehwi came down with a cold
· so you decide to buy one of the new books that tomes and scrolls stocked and send it to him via owl
· the owl comes back with a note
· "thanks so much (y/n)! you know just how to make me feel better"
· is that your heart beating?
· why yes it is
· then the next week he's back and when you see him you give him a quick hug
· "i'm glad you're better!"
· "me too"
· your friends start teasing you about it
· "off to your date with the hufflepuff?"
· "leave me alone jackass"
· then one weekend you get to tomes and scrolls and he's not there
· but the shop owner is like "ah, (y/n), the lovely boy left something for you!"
· and it's a book
· but when you open it, most of the words are blacked out except for a few?
· and you realize it's actually a message
· "will you date me? i'm at the three broomsticks"
· heart TRYING TO ESCAPE YOUR CHEST, you thank the shop owner and hurry to the three broomsticks
· and daehwi is sitting there nervously, two butterbeers sitting in front of him
· as soon as he sees you, a huge smile spreads across his face
· "i would love to date you"
· the two of you are like the golden couple
· literally if daehwi doesn't absolutely kill in something, you do
· and the opposite, whatever your weaknesses are, daehwi excels
· absolute couple goals
· and daehwi is so sweet if you two ever argue it's over in like ten minutes and you two are back to your adorable relationship w lots of communication and love
