JASPER ENTERED the Man Cave while holding a plate of Fried Plate of Fajitas. "Happy Fajitas Friday, people!" He announced but nobody paid attention to him.

Everyone was at the couch, all of them tapping their phones for the past hour. "It's not Friday, it's Saturday." Henry corrected.

"Well, that would explain why I was the only one at school today."

"Silence boy!" Ray snapped. "I'm trying to buy tickets to Cactus Con!"

Jasper furrowed her eyebrows. "But they don't go on sale 'til Saturday."

Thea rolled her eyes. "Oh God." She groaned.

"Think it through. . ." Charlotte told.

He paused momentarily then dropped the plate of fajitas onto the floor. "Oh! I gotta buy my tickets!" He rushed over to join them at the couch. "Anybody get tickets yet?"

"No,"
"Nope,"
"Don't you see me tapping?"

"I don't understand why everyone loves this Cactus Convention so much." Schwoz spoke.

Ray looked up. "What? Tap my phone, would ya?" He slid his phone over to Henry.

"Uh. . ." The blond male started.

"Thanks, little buddy," The man ruffled Henry's hair before he stood up. "Cactus Con is the best convention in Swellview. It's better than Wallet Con, Squirrel Con and Chaka Con."

"You can tap one more, right?" Charlotte asked.

       "Uh no—"

"Thanks, champ." Charlotte cut him off and walked over to Ray and Schwoz. "And there's great food there too, like cactus milk, cactus tacos, cactus jerky."

"That all sounds disgusting." Schwoz commented.

"You're eating fajitas off the floor."
"You want one."
"Yeah, I'll have one."
"I'll take a floor-jita." Ray told.

"And my sister's the Cactus Queen this year." Henry chimed in.

"And my brother's the Cactus King!" Thea added with a grin.

Charlotte hummed. "And, I designed their costumes with my friend, Patina."

"Yeah, it's looks so good," Thea then handed her phone towards Henry. "Tap my phone."

Henry glanced up at his girlfriend with a slightly annoyed look. "Look Thea—"

But his sentence was interrupted when the girl pulled him in for a quick kiss on the lips. "You're too kind, Hen." She skipped away from him to join the others.

Jasper looked away from his phone. "Wait, wait, wait. The pretty Patina? The prettier Patina, or the prettiest Patina?" He said in a frantic tone.

"Uh, Patina L?" Charlotte unsurely said.

He gasped. "The prettiest Patina! Hey, tap my phone for me!" He urged and passed his phone over to Henry then rushed over to join the others. "I love Patina! I love her, like I love her!"

"Everyone loves Patina L. She's great." Thea agreed with a small shrug.

"Have you like actually seen her?" Jasper questioned. "Have you been to her house?"
