AS THE SUN DIPPED low in the sky, casting a warm hue over the dirt track. Zach, Cyrus and Hugo revved their engines as dust swirled around them whilst they prepared for the upcoming motorbike competition.

Zach took the lead right from the start with his black and red bike glinted in the singling as he maneuvered through the turns with precision. The wind whipped through his hair and a triumphant grin spread across his face as he crossed the finish line first.

Cyrus followed closely behind, his blue and white bike had settled for second place. Last to finish was Hugo and his green bike yet it didn't let it dampened his spirits.

"Lap's time about two seconds off!" Piper had counted how long did it take for Zach to finish the entire track. "Not bad though."

Hugo turned to Zach. "I think it's the uphill, everyone keeps messing up on that one."

             "It's impossible!" Zach mentioned.

Before anyone could respond, a purple motorbike sped past them which took all of them by surprise. Hopping off her bike, all of them had frustrated expressions as they could tell who was on the bike.

          Jana Tetrazzini.

"What's impossible, Zach. I wouldn't think impossible is even in your vocabulary," She falsely smiled then averted her gaze to Piper who was standing next to Jett. "Hello, Piper."

"Jana." The blonde sneered and the two girls held an intense stare down that was broken by Zach chiming in.

Zach grinned. "Jana, we can't wait to compete against you in the race."

             "I'm not." Cyrus grumbled.

"Me too, I can't wait to bring home that trophy when I win 1st place!" She smugly said.

The Wilde boy rolled his eyes. "Don't get too ahead of yourselves, the competition is tomorrow." He reminded.

Hugo nodded. "Yeah, my Mom says that jinxing is bad luck and you should sleep next to ketchup bottles to reverse it."

Cyrus narrowed his eyes. "It doesn't even work like that." He disagreed,

"Are you calling my Mom a liar?"

"I'm not calling her a truther!" The two boys began to argue until Jana spoke up again.

She let out a laugh. "Losers!" The girl exclaimed and Piper was about to lunge at her but Zach held her back. Jana proceeded to guide her motorbike, leading it towards the bleachers.

Piper pushed Zach's hands away from her and smoothed down her skirt. "I hate her." She crossed her arms over her chest.

Hugo nodded in agreement. "Yeah, but she is kinda hot though." He admitted.

Cyrus shot him a look. "Hugo, shut up!" In disbelief that he was showing support towards their current enemy for the trophy.

The red haired's eyes went wide and looked over at the others for help. "But she does though, I'm just saying. . ."

                 "What's the matter with you?"

                  "Nothing!"

Meanwhile Jana approached a quiet Jett that was sitting on the bleachers and was sketching in his journal. "Hey, Jett." She smiled.
