"Y'know something?" Sara Lin asked, glancing up at the taller boy whom she was leaning against.

"What?" He looked down, locking eyes with the girl curled up at his side.

For a moment, she just giggled to herself from underneath his arm, resting draped over her shoulders, until she looked back up and answered, "I made a playlist about you back when I was still just crushing."

Removing his arm from around her, he turned his body to fully face her, intrigued as she also sat up, "You did? What kinda playlist? Why did you never tell me this before?"

"I guess I just never really thought about telling you, I thought I'd never show you when I first made it, anyway." She shrugged, "But as for what kind, well, it's called Subs, of course, and it's just a bunch of songs that I either knew you liked, that made me think of you, or that I just connected with you somehow. Want to see it?"

"Do I wanna see it..." He chuckled, raising an eyebrow, "More like I NEED to see it, you've got me all curious!"

This got a laugh from the redhead as well, "Gimme a moment, I gotta pull it up."

As she said this, she leaned towards the coffee table, swiping her phone from the surface of it and opening Topsify. As she scrolled through her various playlists that she had made over time, after passing only about a million, she finally landed on the one that had been made with the one and only Subwayboy in mind. She handed the phone to the boy once she tapped into it, allowing him to observe at his own pace.

Upon closer inspection, Oliver's eyes just about popped out of his head, turning to his girlfriend in bewilderment as she snickered slightly, the boy saying in disbelief, "Sara, a 15 hour long playlist?! How the heck did you manage to find 270 songs that reminded you of me???"

Sara burst out in laughter, "I think you underestimate how much brain power my crushes occupy, especially ones as intense as the one I had on you!! I don't even know what I would've done with myself if I hadn't gotten together with you eventually!"

Once he managed to shake off the surprise, he directed his attention back to the screen, scrolling through the various songs; a pleasant mix of classic rock that he knew and loved, a few oddball songs that he didn't recognize and didn't seem to fit the other themes (though there had to be a reason for their presence), and copious amounts of what appeared to be sappy love songs. Though it wasn't necessarily entirely composed of what he'd consider his preferred taste, he still found himself quite touched at the amount of time and thought that must have gone into making such an extensive playlist, especially for something that she made without intending to ever show him. With soft eyes and a small smile spreading across his lips, he turned his head once more to face the girl who had been studying his face.

"Can you tell I've been head over heels from the moment I realized I liked you? I worked on that playlist for like, 8 or 9 months before I finally stopped adding to it. Honestly, come to think of it, I don't actually even know why I ever stopped working on it, I probably have about a thousand more to add!" She finished with a small giggle.

Gingerly taking her chin with a bent finger, he leaned in, her doing the same with a slight grin until they met in the middle, sharing a brief yet loving kiss until he pulled back. Wordlessly, the pair shifted back into their previous position, Sara cuddled into the side of Oliver's body as he held her close, simply enjoying each other's presence.

Except now, the only difference was the soft sound of quiet music now echoing from the girl's phone, sat once more on the table, adding further to the peace and unspoken communication of deep-set love between the two.

I know this is a short one but I think it's a super cute idea! I'm the kind of person who makes playlists about people, ESPECIALLY people I like, and the playlist she showed in this story was actually the same info as my playlist I made for my last crush! Yep, 270 songs, and over 15 hours long lol, and yes indeed, made of of songs I knew he liked, that I connected with him, or that made me think of him!
