Sara, Patrick and Oliver, were in one of the study rooms at the library, Oliver was showing them how to do one of the math problems. "Okay, you put the 12 on top and 30 on the bottom. Then you show your work, like this." "Wait, Oliver! you're writing too fast!" Sara said, swatting his hand away from the paper. "Yeah, slow down SUBWAY BOY!" Patrick said. "Oliver show us how you are doing that." Oliver sighed. He showed them slowly. "Right, I knew that." Patrick said with a smirk. "Sure you did Patrick!" Sara said loudly. "Hey! I'm not as bad at math as you, SARA LIN!" "OH YEAH! WANT TO BET!" "OH YEAH. You're on!" "Guys NO. We are NOT doing that right now." Oliver said promptly. "Can we just focus on the task at hand?" "Fine." "Fine!" "Awesome thanks."

Then Patrick got a phone call from his mom, "Oh, sorry guys I've got to go, my aunt is coming for dinner and she wants me to make my famous coconut macaroons." Patrick said, collecting his stuff. "Bye guys, see you tomorrow!"

The two teens stared at each other as soon as Patrick left. Oliver shook his head, and looked down. "Okay, well let's finish this page. And then we'll go too." Oliver said, studying the page of math problems. "Okay."

After they finished, they started walking home. "Hey, thanks for helping me with my math. It's improving a lot." "It's no problem. I get paid anyways." "I know, but you could be doing something else with your time."

"I could be, but I'm not. I enjoy tutoring, plus it's cool to hang out with you, even if it's just for math stuff," Oliver said back to her coolly.

"I heard that part of why you're tutoring is to save up to get a guitar, plus ten attractiveness for the girls right there," she joked, knowing she was also talking about her own opinion on the matter as well as she said that.

Oliver smiled a little bit and started laughing, showing off his dimples that were rarely seen by other people. Sara's heart instantly sped up knowing that she was the one to make him laugh like that, and it wasn't because she had been on the other end of a joke from him like it had been the last time she saw him laugh. Her mind was going a million miles an hour with a ton of different thoughts floating through her head, most of them being some variation of her freaking out about how cute he was with his dimples present on his face for once.

She stood there gaping at the boy, unable to tear her eyes away from the boy next to her, still laughing a bit. Only a moment later he stopped laughing, but remained smiling, now in a better mood than he had been, and he looked over at Sara and noticed she was staring at him, then raising an eyebrow at her, confused.

When he looked over at her, her eyes widened; she realized he had caught her staring as they walked and she stumbled over her own feet in embarrassment and began falling to the ground. Oliver, realizing she was falling, stopped smiling as a look of panic flashed across his face. He reached his arms out around the girl as an attempt to catch her before she fell, but his attempt turned out to be futile, only bringing himself down as well as his balance was thrown off.

They fell to the ground, their bodies rapidly cutting through the air as Oliver had his arms around Sara's waist until they collapsed on the hard pavement beneath them. When they landed on the ground, the impact hit both of them fairly hard, sending Oliver's glasses flying off his face and skittering across the ground until they stopped a few feet away from the two.

Luckily, the boy had not fully fallen on Sara, and landed on his hands, which had gotten slightly scraped up, hovering slightly above her, confused. Everything had happened so fast that neither one had really had time to process it. All Sara knew was that the boy that she admired so much and felt so strongly for was there, just above her face.
