The morning following Oliver and Sara's call, the redheaded girl woke up, and the first thing she did was smile super wide, remembering the previous night's events. She looked at her call log again to make sure it had really happened, and when she saw Oliver, or rather, Subway Boy's name in the history, she let out a small giggle and looked up at her ceiling, sighing softly.

She knew that she had to see him, so she took a minute to think of what to do with all the social distancing stuff. Along with that, she figured she should probably have some kind of reason to see him, because "I just wanted to talk to you" may have worked for him yesterday, but for it to be two days in a row, would that be weird? Would it make her seem clingy after one call? Either way, the answers to those questions didn't matter right then because she had a plan.

Getting into a fresh set of clothes and finishing her morning routine, she walked out of her room and into the kitchen, noticing a note from her dad saying he was out for the day. Then she began getting stuff out to make some food, but unsure of what exactly he liked, decided to keep it simple, grabbing supplies to make just a few basic PB&J's.

Once she had gloves on just to be safe and had four sandwiches made, she sliced all of them into triangles and placed them into bags, two sandwiches for each of them. Going over to the cabinet, she grabbed down a few small bags of chips, then deciding to bring drinks as well and grabbing two juice pouches out of the fridge.

Finishing up with the spread, she took off her gloves, grabbed her mask off of the counter beside her, put it over her ears with it resting on her chin, and gathered the food and drinks into her arms. Exiting the kitchen after grabbing her phone, she opened her apartment door and stepped across the hall, setting down half of the food in front of the door before settling back in her own doorway. Then, placing the remainder of the food on the ground in front of her, she pulled out her phone and opened up her text messages.

Scrolling down a little bit, she found Subway Boy's messages, and even just seeing his contact photo made her heart softly flutter as she clicked into their past messages. Quickly she typed out a short message, "hey, come to your door and bring your mask." Only a second later he replied, "okay, one minute."

Smiling so widely with her mask still not on yet, she leaned her head back against the doorframe with her eyes shut, waiting for the boy to arrive. After a minute or so she heard the doorknob begin to move across the hall, and she darted her head back upright as her eyes went wide, Sara quickly moving to pull up her mask over her face.

Looking somewhat confused to see Sara across the hall, Oliver spoke up, "hey Sara, uh, what's up?"

For a moment, Sara simply stared at the boy as her heart went into overdrive upon seeing him standing there in sweatpants and a hoodie with a mask on his face and his hair tied up in a small ponytail . Glad that her mask was covering most of her face, she flushed red while she looked up in awe until he tilted his head in confusion at her.

"Oh, uh, look down," Sara spoke one she realized she had been staring, directing the boys attention to the food by his feet as he began to sit down.

He was surprised that the girl had made the effort to make lunch for him and went slightly pink as well, looking back to her as he picked up the sandwich bag, "oh, thanks Sara! What's this for?"

She smiled even though she knew he couldn't see it through her mask, "just a thank you for last night, I had a lot of fun," then remembering how he thought the night ended, chuckling nervously, "oh, and uh, sorry for um, falling asleep on you last night, haha..."

Upon hearing this, even the mask couldn't hide how much Oliver was blushing, remembering what he had said after she supposedly fell asleep. He noticed she had sounded a little awkward when she spoke and desperately hoped she hadn't heard what he said, and tried as hard as he could to convince himself that she was just embarrassed about falling asleep.
