After snapping some quick yet elegant pictures, the five teens started making their way to their school, and despite the close distance, rather than walking they had decided to have Joe drive with both of the girls in heels and him being the most responsible driver of the bunch (and not to mention he was the only one with a car).
Only a few short minutes later, the car had pulled up to the school which had been a huge relief to the kids inside. Joe's car was a good car, but it was a little on the small side, making it a little uncomfortable to have five people shoved inside. With Joe driving and Vicky up front with him, in the back Oliver and Patrick were shoved up against the windows and little Sara Lin was left wedged in between them.
As they all spilled out of the car, Sara unbuckled her seatbelt only to find that she had buckled her dress in there somehow, and during the ride it had managed to get caught on something inside the mechanism, leaving her unable to move in fear of ripping a hole in her dress.
"Um, guys?!" Sara called nervously when she wasn't able to get it out herself.
They all turned around when they heard her voice and realized she wasn't with them, wondering why she wasn't getting out until she spoke again, panic evident in her voice, "I'm stuck, my dress is caught in the buckle! Can one of you help me?!"
Oliver stepped back, stating to the rest of the group, "you guys go ahead, I'll help her out," and rolling his eyes when Joe grinned at him knowingly.
"Are you sure? If you need help just come get me, this isn't the first time something like this has happened," Vicky said, rolling her eyes lightly with a loving smile at the end, embarrassing Sara.
"Yeah, I think we'll be okay, she probably just needs another set of eyes to help her get out," Oliver announced, continuing back to the car, the side door still open as the rest of the group once again started walking towards the school.
"*sigh*, I'm sorry Oliver, I'm a bit of a mess, but I guess you already knew that," Sara chuckled, obviously embarrassed at the all-too-familiar situation.
The second he sat back down in the seat next to her, he leaned down and got right to work attempting to untangle her from inside the buckle, barely taking a second to breathe before replying to her, "don't worry about it, this kinda stuff happens and it's fine."
Soon enough, Oliver had announced that he was finished and sat back up as Sara looked at him with a grateful smile, quickly followed by her yelling loudly, "FREEDOM!!!"
At this he let out a laugh, and as she was stepping out of the car, Sara suddenly remembered the conversation from earlier in the week, and found herself asking the blond, "oh, by the way, what happened with the girl you asked to be your date? Is she meeting you here?"
Oliver had been in the midst of climbing out of the car as well when he heard her sentence, and when he realized what she had said, he jutted upwards in shock and hit his head on the frame of the car, letting out a loud pained noise before jumping out of the car holding the top of his head.
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?!?" Sara asked worriedly, running to his side and moving his hand, glad to see no blood or anything among his soft golden locks.
He knew the shock of the hit had impacted more than the actual hit, so he quickly just brushed it off, and instead answering her, "I'm fine, don't worry about it, just shock. But uh.... no, I um.... I never asked her. There wasn't a good time," he paused, then mumbled quieter, but still loud enough for the girl next to him to hear as they started over to the school, "and well... maybe I was too scared and chickened out...."
