After watching her closed door for a few more seconds with his mind wandering, Oliver turned and entered his own apartment, shutting the door and leaning on it silently.

Then, he let out a loud sneeze.

"Crap."

He let out a loud groan, "aw man, I knew I'd get sick but I didn't think it'd be so quick!"

But when he remembered seeing the adorable girl across the hall in his oversized coat, he smiled a little, and knew he had made the right choice. Now she wouldn't be sick, and he would have that memory. After a moment of being caught up in his thoughts, Joe rounded the corner, seeing Oliver with his head in the clouds.

"Oliver? I thought I heard you come in," Joe said, smiling (as usual) at his younger brother before noticing his expression, continuing, confused, "why are you so smiley? You're usually so stone-faced, I don't remember the last time I saw you smile like that. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen you smile like that."

It was only when his brother had spoken to him that the blond boy had snapped out of his daze, immediately going red, trying to cover for himself, "oh uh- no reason, just in a good mood because of uhhhh..... The snow! Yeah, the snow!"

Joe, not having known it was snowing went over the window, speaking as he walked, "snow? What are you tal- oh it is snowing! That's crazy, it's May!"

However, after seeing the snow, he looked at the clock and then back at Oliver, asking, "wait, why are you home so late? It's almost 8 PM, you should've been home about an hour ago, you had tutoring with Sara today right?"

"Yeah, she saw the snow and asked if we could make a snowman so we did," Oliver replied, still blushing a little.

"Oh, okay, that makes sense. Hold on, where's your coat? I saw you wearing it this morning, did you leave it at the school? Oliver you're gonna freeze!" Joe fussed over him like a worried mom.

The boy's eyes widened, he wasn't sure how to respond, he knew Joe would freak out if he told him where it was, "oh, my uh, my jacket.... It's- um, it's, my coat is um-"

Joe then cut him off his eyes going large in excitement, a joyful smile beaming across his face, "you gave it to her didn't you?!?"

Oliver groaned because he knew this is exactly what would happen, however he still attempted to lie so Joe might back off, "n-no Joe, I didn't give it to her, I jus-"

"Mhm, let's just pretend you didn't give it to her, I get it Oliver," he said while grinning smugly, knowing he was right by his awkward change in demeanor.

"Whatever!" Oliver sighed in defeat, knowing he wouldn't shake him no matter how much arguing he did.

"I'm just your brother dude, I want to know what's going on in the world of Oliver. Why don't you ever tell me about your love life?" Joe asked, wishing he could understand him better.

However, the younger of the two nearly choked on air when he had said that, causing him to go into a bit of a coughing fit before gaining his composure, yelling, embarrassed, "what love life?! I'm not dating anyone, I'm not interested in anyone!"

The blue-haired boy scoffed, still grinning, "okay, let's ignore the fact that your coat is at Sara's apartment right now then."

Oliver ignored his brothers statement, finally stepping away from the door and into their kitchen to get a drink and make some instant noodles. As he sat down a glass from their cabinet, he let out a loud sneeze before sniffling a few times. Joe sat himself down on the couch, opening his laptop to begin working on something, figuring Oliver would join him in a minute.
