"You guys ready?" Sara asked Oliver and Joe standing on either side of her, standing outside of Patrick's house preparing to go in.

Oliver shrugged, not really feeling very strongly either way, shocked he was even invited, while Joe gave a more upbeat "yep!"

"Great, let's go!" She spoke again, venturing forward to the doorway.

As they got to the door Sara knocked, and it wasn't Patrick who opened it, but rather Vicky. After wrapping the shorter girl in a hug, she looked over to the other two and greeted them, trying to hold back her blush as she avoided Joe's eyes. Showing them inside where the others were sitting in the living room, Vicky sat back down onto the couch where she had previously been before the three new people arrived.

Before they had gotten there it had been just Patrick, Tammy and Vicky, but that also meant they had been the last ones to arrive, and Sara, taking note of this spoke up, "sorry, were we late?"

"Nah, these two didn't arrive much earlier than you," Patrick spoke, waving it off like no big deal.

The girl nodded back, glad they hadn't shown up late to the party. Well, more of a hangout with snacks and music and stuff than a party, exactly what Sara had promised Oliver when she was explaining that he was invited, much to his surprise. He had been expecting to walk into a much larger thing, thinking she had said that to convince him to come since Patrick didn't exactly seem the type to host a small gathering.

Raising a hand, Patrick waved over towards the other two, casually speaking, "hey Joe, Oliver."

Both of them also said their hellos, waving back to him. Everyone was soon sat down somewhere, talking to someone as they chatted the time away. While the music played in the background, conversations were beginning to die down, and some people moved to talk with others about anything they could think of. This was a pretty diverse group of people so though it seemed like there was so consistent topic of conversation, some were having trouble keeping theirs afloat.

Noticing how things were slowly becoming awkward, Sara thought about how to keep things going, taking charge as she asked, "so uh, what's the plan for tonight Patrick? Anything on the agenda?"

He glanced over to Vicky for a brief second then looked over to her and replied, "not really, I kinda thought we'd just go with the flow, figure it out as we went."

"Well that's not helpful," she thought to herself, then speaking aloud, "let's just admit things are getting awkward, does anyone have any suggestions on what we should do?"

Vicky looked back to Patrick who had gone back to looking at her with a quizzical expression, to which she discreetly nodded but put up a finger to signal to wait for a minute.

She then stood up, still avoiding eye contact like before, "I'm gonna go grab something, Joe, can you help me real quick?"

He looked back at her, also standing up and smiling, "sure! Be right back everyone!"

The two walked together to the kitchen and when the swinging door shut behind them, Vicky abruptly turned around and began speaking really quickly, bright red, "okay so I didn't actually need your help to get something but I just wanted to tell you that we've been planning something. So there actually is something on the agenda but I wanted to let you know so you didn't get freaked out or anything. So we all know it's like really obvious your brother and Sara like each other so me and Patrick had this idea to set up a game of spin the bottle and you don't have to play if you don't want to but now that you know, everyone's in on it but them so I just wanted to let you know."
