After a long and stressful day of school, school, and then more school all while at home with her dad blasting music from the living room, it would an understatement to say that Sara was merely satisfied to finally be finished her normal schoolwork. Everything with all this quarantine stuff had definitely taken it's toll on her. School had become fifty times more difficult since not being able to do stuff in person, and it definitely made tutoring way harder. Learning over a video call was definitely no easy task, especially after Oliver had finally found some things that worked for Sara and her way of learning.

The relief of being done washed over her as she stood up and flopped down onto her bed, groaning happily into the crook of her elbow, "finally!"

For a few minutes, she just laid there, reminiscing in the fact that it was a Friday, and after five days of hours spent suffering through her classes she definitely needed the two day break. The music blaring through the apartment wasn't very relaxing, but she just plugged in some earbuds for a minute, not playing any music but just to muffle the sound of her dad badly playing guitar along to some old classic rock song.

Only a short while later, she felt her phone buzz beside her and heard "Patience" by Guns N' Roses softly playing.

The second she heard the ringtone that she had specially set for only one person, she realized and asked to no one in particular, "Oliver?"

She then went to pick up her phone, for a second stopping to admire the picture she had taken of the boy when he was in the middle of taking a bite of his food and just noticed her. Whenever she saw the contact photo she always let out a small laugh, remembering him questioning her after about why she had taken a photo of him.

After realizing her phone was still ringing, she hit the answer button, and the video chat came up to show the blond haired boy on screen looking back at her. She was a little confused, they had never really been particularly close, more so that they had been getting along enough to be friendly in daily life and get by in their tutoring.

"Hey Oliver! Uh, what's up? I thought we didn't have tutoring today?" Asked Sara, confusion evident in both her voice and expression.

"Not much, uh, no, we didn't have tutoring, but I just uh.... Wanted to talk? I don't know, I can hear your dad from across the hall and knowing it was him made me think of you so I figured I'd call just to see how you are," the boy replied awkwardly, not having thought through what exactly he would say when she picked up.

Sara rolled her eyes in annoyance at her dad and looked at him, "yeah, if you haven't been hearing the whole time, he's been blasting it all day, it's been driving me crazy. I'll be right back, I'm going to ask him to turn it down real quick," she said before setting down her phone with the camera facing the ceiling as she exited her room and went down the hall.

When she got to the living room, she had to yell over the music, and when her dad still didn't hear her, she went over and tapped him on the shoulder. He spun around so quickly that he accidentally elbowed her in the face, causing her to recoil in pain, groaning. He quickly turned down the music and went over to her to see if she was okay.

"I think I'm okay, but OUCH. I just wanted to ask if you could turn down your music, I'm on a call with Oliver and he can hear it from across the hall," she responded in annoyance.

"Oliver? I thought you didn't have tutoring today?" He asked.

Sara shrugged, almost as confused as him, "we don't, he said he called just to check in. I'm gonna go back so I don't just abandon him. Please keep your music down, the whole building can hear you!"
