Chapter 13 

Exchange 

"Zemira, are you sure you can handle it all?" 

People around me keep on asking me if I can handle my singing career and also my studies. Alam ko naman that my parents will still support me even if I stop studying but I don't want that dahil gusto ko pa din may maipakitang diploma sa kanila. 

"The school is aware about my situation that is why they make an exception for me." I said but it looks like it's still not enough assurance for my bothered mother. 

Sa totoo lang ang swerte ko na nga na pumayag yung school sa set up na gusto ni Ate Ellaine na gawin ko. The Rivera's will start promoting me as their new singer para bago ako maghanda sa first single at album ko matunog na yung pangalan ko. It will take months or a year of promoting myself but I trust myself. Ang mangyayari sa studies ko is the teachers will give me activities and a copy of all the lesson to study at ipasa sa kanila at pag hindi naman masikip ang schedule ko, I can come to school and attend classes. I take ABM strand while this year was also Marco's last year in high school, Grade 12 taking HUMMS. 

I am a little sad na madalas akong walang sa campus at hindi ko masyadong makakasama si Marco sa school just like before at alam ko naman na sobrang hirap na pag-aadjust ang ginawa niya simula ng umalis sa Carlo. He is not thet friendly anyway dahil pakiramdam ko si Marco may pinipili lang talaga siya na kakaibiganin niya. He is picky choosing people around him. 

Even how friendly you are towards him pag naramdaman niyang ayaw niya sa'yo at hindi niya kakayanin na tagalan ang tulad mo he would rather not be friend with you kaya sobrang swerte na kung tatanggapin ka ng isang Marco Jael bilang kaibigan niya. 

"I will be fine, Mommy. Hindi ko naman pababayaan ang sarili ko." 

"Alam ko naman yun but you will exhaust yourself to this set up." 

I smile at her. "At least, I am doing what I love, right? I love singing, at the same time I also like to study because I want to give a complete school diploma to you and dad."  

The summer end quickly na parang isang mabilis na hangin lang na dumaan sa harap ko. I feel like my summer is full of achieving my dream not like before my summer is more into hanging out and spending time with Marco. 

Everything become so different since that night and that day but I know my life is slowly going back to it's place but that place still have it's missing people but instead of crying and hurting over that ginagawa ko yung inspirasyon para ituloy pa ang buhay ko. I can't never bring back those missing people in my life, I will just focus on the life I have. The life that Lea and Tito are thankful to. Yung buhay na meron ako na pinagpasalamat nila dahil meron silang ako dahil sa buhay na yun. 

I will keep on living and believing for them. They gave me strength even though I lost them. 

"May mga music shows kang pupuntahan at sasalihan at baka madami din tayong events na puntahan but don't worry, I will not stress you so much." Ate Ellaine said nang makarating ako dito sa Rivera's. 

"Don't worry, I trust you." I said and smile at her kaya nahampas niya ako. Natawa na lang ako sa kanya bago kami sumakay ng elevator papunta sa office ni Miss Olivia. She likes to see me before I go to my first schedule which is a pictorial for my profiles. 

When we enter the office Miss Olivia is standing in front of her table while Oliver is seating on the couch. I learn that he is just 2 years older than me and still studying, based on my source which is Ate Ellaine dahil pinsan niya pala sa mother side. Technically Ate Ellaine is scared of her aunt dahil pag nasa trabaho daw hindi pamangkin ang turing sa kanya ni Miss Olivia.
