Threat 

Since Marco and I become together I never thought that I will see him this serious and professional in front of me. I feel like my boyfriend is not around and I am looking at a different person at the moment. 

We write songs together, he teach me a lot of things ever since. I saw him being serious all the time. A different kind, but right now while he is talking to me this is a new kind of seriousness that I am seeing in him. 

"Ash Records will open here in the Philippines and Marco decided that he wants it to be under the Rivera's. We talk about this a lot and consider a lot of things... Now, that your contract with us reaches its end we want to ask you if you want to continue being a singer of Rivera's or you will join Ash Records, it's still part of Rivera's too anyway." Paliwanag sa'kin ni Oliver dahil alam ko na halata sa mukha ko na naguguluhan na ako sa nangyayari. 

I look at Marco and he is already looking at me. Gusto ko siyang tanungin kung ito ba yung sinasabi niya na inaasikaso niya na hindi niya magawang sabihin sa'kin. Instead of asking him I just look at him at alam ko na sa tinginan pa lang naming dalawa, I know that he can read what I want to say. 

Seryoso man ang mukha niya at parang hindi girlfriend niya ang kaharap niya alam kong nakikita niya pa din sa'kin na ang daming tanong ang tumatakbo sa isipan ko ngayon. I want to asked him what made him do this. Why under Rivera? 

Ang hindi ko lang kasi maintindihan na alam ko na kaya family ni Marco na magpatayo ng Ash Record dito ng hindi nilalagay under ng isang company na ang recording agency nila. I feel like he has his reason why he decided to do this. A reason that includes me, kilala ko si Marco at yun din ang nakikita ko sa tingin na binibigay niya sa'kin. 

"If I decide to sign under Ash Records, then what would happen to me?" I asked them. 

"You will be part of the Ash Record family, you will also promote in New York sometimes because the main office is there anyway. In short, once you sign with us you are under Ash Records but the branch here will still be under Rivera's, you can still be part of them if you can't just leave where you started." 

I can help but to smirk because I think I just got the answer to my confusion because of what Marco said. Alam ko din naman na hindi lang yung iniisip ko ang pwedeng maging dahilan. He is Marco, he has a lot of reason in everything that he is doing. 

"What make you decide to open an agency here, Mr. Ashford?" Ginaya ko lang naman siya pero yung pagtaas ng kilay niya mas mabilis pa sa pagsimangot ko kanina. Siya nag-umpisa nito kaya tapusin niya! 

"Everyone here has a talent. A talent that should be shared around the world. There are people here who love to dream big, I want to be the one to make their dream come true... To the place where I came from. To the place where I also started to dream to make music." Ngayon ako na ang hindi makapagsalita at nakagat ko na lang ang dila ko. 

Just like what I expected, hindi lang ako ang dahilan niya. Marco may just have his attention me but he also don't forget to look around him at kung ano ang kailangan ng paligid niya na kaya niyang bigyan ng solusyon. 

"Okay, then. I will sign under Ash Record. As Zemira Ember Velasco, the singer and the top star. I will sign as that person, not as a girlfriend of the CEO. I think ngayon pa lang I already need to practice my answer in every interview." I said and cross my arms in front of my chest. Natawa naman sila Oliver sa sinabi ko. 

Alam ko naman that once I decided to sign under Marco's recording agency may mga taong magsasabi na ginamit ko ang pagiging girlfriend ni Marco para maging parte ng isang malaking recording company. I will sign a contract under Ash Record because I also want to try something new. Hindi naman ako mawawala sa Rivera's because technically the branch here in the Philippines is under them.
